A rare foray forward for the visitors sees Solanke almost burst in between Saliba and Zinchenko. Saliba eventually recovers to make a vital challenge inside his own area, dispossessing the Bournemouth man cleanly.
34'
The review is over, and there will be no penalty. It was risky from Mepham, but he was jumping for a header with his arm in a natural position when the ball struck him. A spot-kick would probably have been harsh.

24'
We've passed the halfway point in this opening period, and Arsenal find themselves behind and have lost Trossard to injury. Things could have been even worse for the leaders, but former Bournemouth goalkeeper Ramsdale produced a huge save to keep the score at 1-0 moments before Trossard's injury.
22'

15'
Saka beats Zemura before driving a fierce cross in from the right, but no red shirts are there to meet it. Arsenal keep the attack alive, but Semenyo is eventually able to clear.
13'
Almost a costly mix-up in the visiting backline as Zinchenko picks out Martinelli with a lofted pass. The Brazilian is crowded out and loses it to Senesi, who almost takes it out of Neto's hands before his goalkeeper regroups.
11'
For those who missed it, goals from Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva fired Manchester City to a 2-0 win over Newcastle United in Saturday's earlier game. Arsenal's lead in the title race is now two points, and as things stand, they will miss the chance to gain breathing space on their pursuers!

8'
The game looks to have settled into a regular pattern now, with Arsenal dominating possession and Bournemouth sat in a 5-4-1 shape. The Cherries win a goal-kick as Tomiyasu's ball over the top runs too long for Saka.
6'
Arsenal win a corner on the left, but Smith is alert to the danger and heads the delivery away. Bournemouth are then forced to defend another cross from the left flank, but the Cherries clear that one as well.
4'

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of this Premier League fixture from the Emirates Stadium, as leaders Arsenal face Bournemouth!
Arsenal took full advantage of their game in hand over Manchester City to go five points clear at the summit on Wednesday, thrashing Everton 4-0 on this ground. While that result saw the Gunners touted as favourites to win their first league title since the Invincibles of 2003-04, Pep Guardiola's champions have just closed the gap again by beating Newcastle United 2-0. Can Arsenal re-establish their five-point cushion?
Bournemouth, meanwhile, are in desperate need of points as they battle for survival. While Gary O'Neil's Cherries won their last away game 1-0 at Wolves, they were brought back down to earth by last week's 4-1 loss at home to City. Bournemouth approach this game one point adrift of safety, and a surprise win could see them leapfrog relegation rivals Everton, Leeds United and West Ham, as well as go level with Wolves and Leicester City.
ARSENAL (4-3-3): Aaron Ramsdale; Takehiro Tomiyasu, Gabriel Magalhaes, William Saliba, Oleksandr Zinchenko; Fabio Vieira, Thomas Partey, Martin Odegaard; Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Martinelli.

BOURNEMOUTH (3-4-3): Neto; Chris Mepham, Jack Stephens, Marcos Senesi; Adam Smith, Joe Rothwell, Philip Billing, Jordan Zemura; Dango Ouattara, Dominic Solanke, Antoine Semenyo.
BOURNEMOUTH SUBS: Mark Travers, Darren Randolph, Ryan Fredericks, Lewis Cook, Ryan Christie, Jack Stacey, Kieffer Moore, Jaidon Anthony, Euan Pollock.
We've already had so many twists and turns in this Premier League title race, and if Arsenal fail to find a way back here, another surprise beckons! The Gunners' best chances came through Odegaard and Saka just three minutes in, but Neto was alert to make a superb double save and preserve Bournemouth's advantage. Arsenal have also lost Trossard to injury, and they need the likes of Smith Rowe and Martinelli to step up to salvage something here.
We hope you've enjoyed our live coverage of one of the games of the Premier League season from the Emirates Stadium! It's goodbye from us for now, and we'll see you next time!
You have to feel for Bournemouth, who came so close to an upset but stay rooted inside the relegation zone after Arsenal's second-half fightback. The Gunners, however, have re-established a five-point lead over Manchester City at the summit, and it's results like this one which make you think it may just be their year!
