Costa's loose touch on the left byline sees the ball trickle behind for a goal-kick, somewhat summing up Wolves' attacking play today: sub-standard.
90' +1
A tempting delivery from the left flank by Podence just skips away from the outstretched boot of Costa at the near post, allowing Alisson to gather the ball. There are to be at least three more minutes of stoppage time, but the result is no longer is in doubt.
89'
Roberto Firmino enters the game and replaces D. Núñez.
J. Milner enters the game and replaces T. Alexander-Arnold.
Alexander-Arnold is also applauded off, with Milner coming on in his place at right-back.
Klopp makes two further changes. First, Firmino replaces Nunez in attack.
87'
Wolves are now building play a little more urgently, but an attempted attack founders on the left side of the Liverpool area when Podence is careless in possession and can't deliver the final ball.
85'
Nunez gives away a couple of free-kicks in quick succession, as he tirelessly closes down his opponents in the Wolves defence.
83'
Costa has yet to make any impact since replacing the ineffective Jimenez, and Wolves have failed to force a single shot on target during the second half. It's been a meek surrender, really.
79'
J. Henderson enters the game and replaces Stefan Bajčetić.
Diego Costa enters the game and replaces R. Jiménez.
A fruitless shift up front for Jimenez ends, as Costa comes on up front for Wolves.
With the points almost under wraps, Klopp now makes another change: Henderson replaces Bajcetic in midfield.
77'
Mohamed Salah has scored a goal for Liverpool! Assist by K. Tsimikas.
After a quick one-two with Gakpo, Tsimikas sprints to the byline and then delivers a low cross for Salah to convert from close in.
SALAH SEALS IT! That's 2-0 to Liverpool, and surely game over! Soon after they take the lead, the hosts combine through a sharp exchange of passes from Gakpo and Tsmikas on the left, and the latter then surges to the byline to cut the ball back for Salah in the centre. He makes no mistake from close range, prodding the ball home for the Reds' second goal of the game!
76'
C. Gakpo enters the game and replaces Diogo Jota.
Having just set up what could well be the winning goal, Jota receives warm applause upon his withdrawal; Gakpo comes on to replace him.

V. van Dijk has scored a goal for Liverpool! Assist by Diogo Jota.
LIVERPOOL LEAD! At the second attempt, Van Dijk puts the Reds ahead! After his initial attempt is saved by Sa at close range, Jota battles to keep the ball in play and turns it back into the Liverpool captain's path. He then nods it into an empty net! That's 1-0 to the home side, and they are finally in front!
Jota sprints to keep the ball alive on the left byline, and then picks out Van Dijk unmarked in the centre of the six-yard box with a cross.
70'
Perhaps stirred by their near-breakthrough a few minutes ago, Liverpool are clearly in the ascendancy now - will Wolves be able to hold them at bay for at least 20 more minutes?
68'
Having spoken out of turn following the Nunez 'goal', Wolves skipper Neves is the latest player to have his name taken by the referee.
66'
Rúben Neves gets yellow.
64'
Daniel Podence enters the game and replaces João Moutinho.
João Gomes enters the game and replaces Matheus Nunes.
Matheus is also withdrawn; recent signing Gomes comes on.
Moutinho's shift in midfield comes to an early end, and Podence will replace him.
63'
Perhaps unsurprisingly, it looks like Lopetegui is readying two further substitutes now, but when will Klopp respond with his first change?
61'
Both teams continue to gift each other possession, as Liverpool's surges and Wolves' counter-attacks break down almost before they've begun. There's a real lack of quality to proceedings here, in spite of the rich talent on the pitch.
59'
Kilman is alive to the danger, as he reacts first when a deflected pass almost breaks for Jota: before the Liverpool forward can reach the ball just ahead of the on-rushing Sa, Kilman makes a crucial sliding tackle.
57'
In the centre circle, Traore is sent tumbling to the turf after a trip by Jota, and a free-kick aids his efforts to carry the ball away from danger and relieve some pressure on Wolves' back four.
53'
Fabinho gets yellow.
A 50-50 challenge with Lemina in midfield results in Fabinho stepping over the ball and onto his opponent. Despite his protestations, the Liverpool man is booked.
51'
Tsimikas stands strong to buffet a challenge from Traore on the byline, and even earns a goal-kick for his side under pressure from the Spanish winger - to the audible delight of the Anfield crowd.
49'
Konate escapes after being outwitted by Ait-Nouri on the left byline, as the Wolves man lays his hands on the Liverpool centre-back and is penalised by the referee - much to his team-mates' visible disgust.
46'
Adama Traoré enters the game and replaces Pablo Sarabia.
It is Lopetegui who makes a half-time change - his second substitution of the match - as Sarabia is replaced by Traore for the second half.
Liverpool kick off, and we are back under way at Anfield!
Dawson positions himself perfectly to get in front of Alexander-Arnold's powerful shot from outside the box and effects a block on what could have been a goalbound strike.
45' +5
HALF-TIME: LIVERPOOL 0-0 WOLVES
45' +4
Pablo Sarabia gets yellow.
Just before the half-time whistle, a rather reckless sliding tackle by Sarabia on Tsimikas results in a booking for the Spain international.
45' +1
After a short delay, Tsimikas delivers an outswinging ball into the box from the free-kick, but it is easily cleared away to safety by the Wolves defence.
44'
Elliott hits the deck under an aerial challenge from Moutinho and earns his side a free-kick around 30 yards out from goal. The Wolves players - and fans - are far from happy about the decision.
42'
A series of fouls in midfield further sap the life from an increasingly drab affair, in which Elliott's chance has been the only highlight for quite some time.
38'
There's little sustained attacking intent from either side at the moment, and they are cancelling each other out in this fourth meeting between them already this year.
36'
Nélson Semedo gets yellow.
Having raised his boot in a midfield contest with Bajcetic, Semedo becomes the second player to see yellow today - and perhaps rather harshly so.
34'
After Sa carries the ball over the right byline under pressure form Salah and concedes a corner, his unconvincing punch from the subsequent set-piece helps Wolves clear any immediate danger.
32'
Starved of chances so far today, Jimenez is frustrated to be penalised for a foul on Tsimikas near the right corner flag, after he nearly smuggles the ball successfully away from Van Dijk.
30'
With a corner from the right-hand side Alexander-Arnold ultimately finds Van Dijk at the back post, but the Dutch defender can only divert his header upwards and it is simple for Sa to deal with.
28'
Still, the visitors maintain their shape and they are doing a fine job of frustrating a Liverpool side which has struggled to find the net of late. The Reds have failed to score in four of their last six league games - as many times as in their previous 65.
26'
The pause for Bueno to receive treatment has brought about a drop in intensity since the resumption, as Liverpool keep possession in midfield, with Wolves poised in hope of a quick counter.
24'
R. Aït-Nouri enters the game and replaces Hugo Bueno.
Injury victim Bueno is forced off, and Ait-Nouri will be his replacement at left-back.
23'
His involvement ended by injury, Bueno is helped to limp off the pitch by the Wolves medics, and the action resumes.
19'
Salah drives in from the right flank and sends across an accurate low ball for Jota, who takes up a position near the penalty spot, but the latter elects to try a flicked finish and manages to miss almost all of the ball, which just slips through his legs.
15'
Stefan Bajčetić gets yellow.
A clumsy trip on Matheus sees Bajcetic receive the game's first yellow card, for trying to halt Wolves' counter-attack.
13'
Konate gifts the ball to Neves inside Liverpool's defensive third, but after the Wolves captain picks out Jimenez with a quick pass, Van Dijk steps in to cut out the danger.
12'
The home side have started to exert some control over proceedings after a bright start from Wolves, but it is a fairly open game so far, with possession being shared quite equally.
10'
Some sharp pressing by Jota and Fabinho forces an error from Matheus in the Wolves area, but Fabinho then sees his low pass across the box cut out for a corner. From the set-piece, Nunez tries to contrive a flicked finish from distance, but is woefully off-target with his attempt.
6'
Liverpool turn up the pressure, as Tsmikas twice has low crosses from the left side of the area blocked away from dangerous areas - on the second occasion by Dawson, who gladly concedes a corner.
3'
After Van Dijk cuts out a Semedo cross inside his own six-yard box, a swift Liverpool counter sees Salah make progress up the right flank before the ball breaks for Bajcetic, whose scuffed shot rolls straight at Sa in the centre of the Wolves goal.

Liverpool picked up just a point from their fixture at Crystal Palace on Saturday, bringing to an end to a Premier League winning run featuring defeats of Everton and Newcastle United. Beaten 5-2 by Real Madrid in the first leg of the teams' Champions league tie last week, the Reds have a nine-point gap to make up to Tottenham - who have played two games more - if they are to return to the competition next term. Today, they meet Wolves for the fourth time this year, having lost 3-0 at Molineux in the league after following a 2-2 FA Cup draw with a 1-0 win in the clubs' third-round replay.
Like the hosts, Wolves came away from their most recent match with a draw - in the West Midlands club's case, against Fulham. A 1-1 result at Craven Cottage topped their February total up to seven points from four top-flight fixtures, lifting them three points clear of the drop zone. Julen Lopetegui's side travelled to Anfield having only lost to Manchester City in their last six Premier League away matches; however, they have not kept a clean sheet on the road since August's goalless draw with Bournemouth.
Liverpool have failed to win their last five Premier League matches when still level at half-time, with their last such victory coming against Manchester City in October. Will Klopp be tempted into any changes early in the second half, in order to help reverse that trend?
That's all from Anfield today, so thank you for joining us and goodbye!
Sunday brings a special fixture in the English football calendar, as Liverpool's next contest is against recent EFL Cup winners Manchester United. Meanwhile, Wolves will tackle the Reds' top-four rivals Tottenham on Saturday.
