Marco Rose will have some thinking to do after today. His side have not been at the races by and large. It's been representative of a frustrating season.
85'
L. Sané has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by S. Gnabry.
Gnabry times that one nicely. The only downside for Bayern was that Robert Lewandowski wasn't there to finish it and make history.
GOAL! LEROY SANE MAKES IT SIX OF THE BEST FOR BAYERN MUNICH! 6-0! The former Manchester City man caps this performance with a throughball from Gnabry and just trims it past Sommer. Even with 10 men, they've still got the magic.
84'
P. Herrmann enters the game and replaces B. Embolo.
Breel Embolo is the latest Gladbach player to depart, with Patrick Herrmann on in his place.
81'
It is too late to make an impact but that red card has jerked the trajectory and momentum away from Bayern. Hansi Flick will be happy to see them take a clean sheet from this game now, as much as anything else.
79'
Neuer rises to the opportunity again to cut off Gladbach's latest move, the goalkeeper sweeping low to collect the ball before it can be snaffled. He's being tested more than he has been previously over the past five minutes.
77'
Denis Zakaria can't believe he's missed that! Gladbach almost get a goal to put themselves on the scoreboard and he somehow just flashes his shot wide of the far post, as he tries to cut across the keeper. Close but no cigar.
75'
T. Nianzou goes off after a red card!
It's a red card! Kouassi is deemed to have committed an offence worth a straight dismissal and his night is over already. Bayern will finish this game a man down.
71'
Javi Martínez enters the game and replaces J. Boateng.
Boateng is also off for the hosts, with Javier Martinez his replacement.
70'
Bayern respond with a swap of their own, and it is Leon Goretzka who makes way for Tanguy Kouassi.

69'
O. Wendt enters the game and replaces R. Bensebaïni.
L. Stindl enters the game and replaces J. Hofmann.
T. Nianzou enters the game and replaces L. Goretzka.
The visitors also bring off Jonas Hofmann and introduce Lars Stindl.
Gladbach make another change now, with Ramy Bensebaini replaced by Oscar Wendt.
67'
Are we about to witness history before our eyes? Robert Lewandowski is looking for a fourth of the day - and number 40 of the season. This could be one for the record books.
66'
Penalty goal scored by R. Lewandowski for Bayern Munich!
65'
F. Neuhaus gets yellow.
It is a penalty! Neuhaus is booked as the referee points to the spot, though it is unclear directly for what. Another chance for Robert Lewandowski now...
GOAL! IT'S A HAT-TRICK FOR ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI! 5-0 TO BAYERN! The Pole steps up, and rolls it low into the right corner as Sommer goes the other way. That's 39 Bundesliga goals - he's one away from matching the all-time record!
62'
Robert Lewandowski - who has had more chances in front of goal than Gladbach seem to have had overall - is still hunting. Surely he won't be removed while the chance remains for him to close in on the tally?
60'
S. Gnabry enters the game and replaces J. Musiala.
L. Goretzka enters the game and replaces D. Alaba.
L. Sané enters the game and replaces K. Coman.
Lastly, Alaba cedes way to Leon Goretzka.
Hansi Flick rings the changes for this coronation clash now and Kingsley Coman makes way for Leroy Sane.
Musiala too is off for Bayern and Serge Gnabry is on.
58'
Julian Nagelsmann is going to face a task following in Flick's footsteps, isn't he? He'll be fortunate to inherit a superb squad, but the way this Bayern team play under their outgoing boss is sensational.
56'
What a tackle from Pavard! A Gladbach break presents a genuine threat but the Frenchman times a superb challenge on the edge of the box to slip in and dislodge the ball. Top drawer stuff.
54'
Plea! Moments after Lewandowski skews another header, the visitors counter and the substitute sprays an effort wide. That's one of the best chances for the visitors yet.
52'
Lewandowski drifts a header over the crossbar and groans in frustration. He knows he is closing in on history.
50'
Gladbach are looking a little more robust at the back so far. Those changes seem to have given them a formation more willing to bend in defence of the Bayern press.
46'
H. Wolf enters the game and replaces V. Lazaro.
A. Pléa enters the game and replaces M. Thuram.
Marcus Thuram has also made way for Alassane Plea in another change from the visitors.
Gladbach have made a swap at the break, with Hannes Wolf replacing Valentino Lazaro.
We're back underway for the second half at Allianz Arena. How many more can Bayern find here?
K. Coman has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by R. Lewandowski.
Add one assist to that tally of two goals for Lewandowski! This has been a rampant performance from the hosts - a champion turn, no less.
GOAL! KINGSLEY COMAN MAKES IT FOUR FOR BAYERN MUNICH! 4-0! When it rains, it pours at Allianz Arena - and the champagne football is flowing. Alphonso Davies outstrips two defenders, plays Lewandowski down the left wing. The Pole could go for a hat-trick, but instead plays it across for his team-mate, who leathers a low effort in at the far post past Sommer. Gorgeous stuff.
42'
How many could Bayern conceivably go for here? There might even be a fourth in them before the break. Absolutely wonderful stuff. Hansi Flick is going to leave quite a legacy despite his relatively brief stint at the helm.
40'
Lewandowski is flagged offside again, this time with Musiala supplying the delivery for the Pole to latch on to.
38'
Bayern Munich aren't solely Robert Lewandowski of course, and this team is looking the business today. Marco Rose has some stern words to deploy when this game reaches the interval.
34'
R. Lewandowski has scored a goal for Bayern Munich!
GOAL! ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI HAS HIS DOUBLE FOR BAYERN MUNICH! 3-0! A delivery that is either headed for the left post or to the Pole takes a slight deflection on the way - but it won't stop him pivoting to tuck an outstanding finish in at close-range under Sommer. Cheeky stuff. Make that 38 goals this season in the top-flight.
33'
What a pair of vicious deflections we had there! Bayern crash a pair of shots in on the back of another break and the echo of the ball rings with an odd crunch around Allianz Arena. That did not sound comfortable for Gladbach's defenders.
31'
Lewandowski is the latest Bayern man to be caught offside, in a near-carbon-copy play of Coman's earlier infringement, chasing down that Kimmich ball once again.
30'
A rare corner for Gladbach allows them to finally impart some box pressure upon their hosts, but it comes to nothing in the end, Ramy Bensebaini's header flicked well over the crossbar.
28'
Coman strays offside chasing down a Kimmich long ball now, and shakes his head ruefully. He's just drifted into the trap there, to his frustration.
25'
Gladbach really need to pull their metaphorical socks up, so to speak. Bayern are unfurling their practice fluidity with aplomb and enjoyment. It's like watching a well-drilled band roll out the greatest hits on stage right now.
23'
T. Müller has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by J. Musiala.
Jamal Musiala gets the assist, bringing down the neat ball on the left edge, and then squaring it back in for his team-mate to rifle home. That is top-drawer stuff from Bayern.
GOAL! THOMAS MULLER DOUBLES BAYERN MUNICH'S LEAD! 2-0! It's a kind deflection that ultimately takes his strike away from Sommer, but the build-up play is beautiful once again from the hosts. They are excellent value for their lead so far.
21'
Muller has a mix-up with a long ball and a potential Bayern attack peters out in quiet fashion. Most of the pressure feels like it has come from the hosts so far, but they'll be more comfortable with another goal to their name.
17'
Another Bayern attack, another Lewandowski chance. This one is another looping header, just glided over the crossbar. If he keeps sniffing around, he's sure to find another one.
14'
Stop from Sommer! Bayern carve an inventive path into the Gladbach box, and take it tight to the left post before a shot is loosened at the goalkeeper. He does very well to parry it away, and his defence mops it up.
12'
Lewandowski! It's almost a double inside the first quarter-hour for the Pole, just steering his header around the wrong side of the goal frame.
10'
Marco Rose is watching intently, keeping his eye on the game. Hansi Flick is more animated, making what appears to be a repeated lasso gesture every now and again, trying to further gee his side up.
8'
Jamal Musiala has a crack at making it two now, assisted by a Muller touch, but sees his effort deflected inside the box. Bayern have started with sturdy purpose.
6'
Another goal for Lewandowski edges him closer to that all-time Bundesliga record of course. He'll need a few more, but he's getting closer to the magic number.
4'
This could very easily become a party for Bayern - they've been know to blow opposition off the park when in the mood - but they are forced back onto the defensive almost from the restart. Lainer lashes an attempt towards goal but it is comfortably wayward in the end.
2'
R. Lewandowski has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by D. Alaba.
GOAL! ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI GETS BAYERN'S CORONATION OFF TO A FLYER! 1-0! The hosts break down the left, thread the ball through the box to the Poland star on the far side and he duly wrestles a low shot in at the opposite post. What a start!
David Alaba does a lot of the hard work there, and gets a well-earned assist. But this is a blinding opening play from Bayern.

We are underway in this Bundesliga clash between Bayern Munich and Borussia Monchengladbach!
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the 2020-21 Bundesliga season, as newly crowned champions Bayern Munich look to celebrate their triumph in style against Borussia Monchengladbach at Allianz Arena.
Today's earlier victory for Borussia Dortmund over RB Leipzig made it a ninth consecutive title for the Bavarian giants, to help cap off Hansi Flick's final month at the helm before he departs. But the treble-winning coach would surely love to see his side mark the occasion with a fine game on home turf.
Their visitors, Champions League contenders this term, have enjoyed a less illustrious campaign however. Marco Rose's side face a fight to finish in sight of Europe this season - but victory over the champions would be a fine feather in their cap at the tail-end of a tough season.
Subs: Tanguy Kouassi, Bouna Sarr, Marc Roca, Alexander Nubel, Leon Goretzka, Javi Martínez, Serge Gnabry, Niklas Sule, Leroy Sane.
BAYERN MUNICH (4-2-3-1): Manuel Neuer; Benjamin Pavard, Jerome Boateng, Lucas Hernandez, Alphonso Davies; Joshua Kimmich, David Alaba; Kingsley Coman, Thomas Muller, Jamal Musiala; Robert Lewandowski.
Subs: Hannes Wolf, Lars Stindl, Jordan Beyer, Oscar Wendt, Patrick Herrmann, Alassane Plea, Christoph Kramer, Tony Jantschke, Tobias Sippel.
BORUSSIA MONCHENGLADBACH (3-4-3): Yann Sommer; Matthias Ginter, Nico Elvedi, Ramy Bensebaini; Stefan Lainer, Denis Zakaria, Florian Neuhaus, Valentino Lazaro; Breel Embolo, Jonas Hofmann, Marcus Thuram.
The teams have emerged and we are moments away from kick-off.
Hansi Flick's weird lasso motion certainly seems to be doing the trick. Maybe Marco Rose should find a strange move of his own. His side really need to get into the groove.
There was no Ballon d'Or last season, when the Pole arguably was the frontrunner - but can Robert Lewandowski break the hold of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo this time around? His record-breaking feats are surely worthy of recognition.
But the night belongs to him and his team. They are champions of Germany again, with games to spare too. Hansi Flick has conquered all fronts since he took charge. He will be a hard act to follow.
There's still two games to go this season though, and both will be back in action next weekend. Gladbach will play host to Stuttgart - and Bayern make the trip to Freiburg. Until then however, thank you for joining us - and have a great weekend!
