What a ball from Costa! There appears little on, but a wonderful reverse pass from out on the right sets Ramsey clear. He is wide of the goal, though, and a ball across the face of goal cannot find a team-mate.
90' +1
There will be a minimum of four minutes of added time, but Genoa do not look like getting back into this game. Besides the Szczesny tackle, the hosts have resorted to aimless long balls.
89'
Straight at Perin! A lovely dummy in the midfield allows Bentancur to march forward before squaring to Higuain on the edge of the area. Higuain shifts the ball onto his left but can only find the goalkeeper's gloves.
88'
Juve win a corner on the right, which Genoa deal with and attempt to counter. But Biraschi tries to go alone from the right-back position, taking on two Juve defenders and giving up possession. He lacks support, in fairness.
85'
Genoa are bossing the possession now, keeping Juve pinned back. They surely have to score soon if they are to have time for an equaliser.
83'
B. Matuidi enters the game and replaces A. Rabiot.
M. Olivieri enters the game and replaces P. Dybala.
Sarri seems confident Juve will not have to get a fourth to seal this one. Dybala makes way for Olivieri.
Matuidi is called from the bench to restore some energy to the Juve midfield, replacing a tired Rabiot.
81'
Dybala goes for goal from a free-kick 25 yards out, but a deflection carries the ball over the top. A corner follows but is gathered by Perin.
80'
A. Masiello gets yellow.
This game is wide open now as Genoa chase a result. Masiello is forced to hack down Bentancur at the other end and is booked.
78'
G. Pandev enters the game and replaces F. Cassata.
Genoa respond to their goal by making an attacking change. Veteran Pandev is on for Cassata. Surely there is no way back!
Minute
Description
76'
A. Pinamonti has scored a goal for Genoa! Assist by D. Biraschi.
Biraschi has only been on the pitch a matter of moments but manages to find Pinamonti in a little space inside the area as his cross evades a number of defenders.
GOOAAALLLL!!! PINAMONTI! It's another beauty - this time for Genoa! 3-1! With a corner only half-cleared, the striker gathers a second cross in the area and dances into space before unleashing a powerful drive high past Szczesny.
75'
D. Biraschi enters the game and replaces S. Sturaro.
Genoa surely know this game is done. Sturaro comes off. Biraschi is on.
74'
G. Higuaín enters the game and replaces Cristiano Ronaldo.
A. Ramsey enters the game and replaces M. Pjanić.
Sarri wastes no time to make his changes. With the game surely won, Pjanic is off for Ramsey.
Ronaldo is granted a rest, with Higuain on. Can he become the latest forward to net with a stunning strike?
73'
Douglas Costa has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by P. Dybala.
Dybala is the latest man to provide an assist. Again, the scorer does all the work.
GOOAAALLLL!!! COSTA! This is every bit as good as the first two! Juve lead 3-0 after a trio of wondergoals. Costa collects the ball on the right corner of the box, shifts left with a stepover and curls towards the top-left corner. The shot starts some way outside the post but curls magnificently to find the net. Perin is rooted.
70'
F. Cassata gets yellow.
Genoa just cannot get a foothold in the game. Cassata is now booked for a foul on Bentancur, who has impressed again.
68'
Juve move the ball so beautifully as they attack through the centre, but Ronaldo, Costa and Dybala are all stood admiring their work when Bentancur drills in a low cross and no-one is waiting in the middle.
66'
Douglas Costa enters the game and replaces F. Bernardeschi.
Things are not getting any easier for Genoa. As Bernardeschi departs, the fresh legs of Costa arrive.
64'
Genoa are still trying to forge a response, but a Juve third looks more likely than a first at the other end. The visitors win the ball back with ease and quickly run at a reeling defence.
62'
A. Barreca enters the game and replaces P. Ghiglione.
Juve have found plenty of joy down the flanks, so Genoa mix things up. Barreca replaces Ghiglione.
61'
The leaders are looking to turn on the style now. A dummy on the edge of the area allows Pjanic to advance and feed the ball into the box, where a team-mate attempts another dummy, only to gift the ball back to Genoa. Masiello hurries a pass back to Perin, though, and almost wrongfoots his goalkeeper.
59'
Juve are moving the ball around with real confidence now, knowing Genoa must chase the game. More space will surely open up.
58'
S. Sturaro gets yellow.
Sturaro only left Juve last year but there are no friends here as the Genoa captain catches Bernardeschi with his elbow, prompting a yellow card.
56'
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by M. Pjanić.
GOOAAALLLL!!! RONALDO! Now it's two! What a hit! Genoa do not get out to close Ronaldo down and, from 25 yards, he lashes a right-footed drive high past Perin into the top-right corner. Juve lead 2-0 and are surely on course for another win now.
It is Pjanic's turn to earn an assist for a relatively simple pass, giving Ronaldo the ball and sitting back to watch the show.
54'
Superb from Cuadrado once more! He may have had little involvement in the goal, but he has been Juve's standout star in defence. A brilliant tackle on Cassata halts Genoa as they attack down the left.
52'
Even with no fans in attendance, the noise levels have lifted since that goal. Genoa are furiously chasing the game now and the tackles continue to fly in.
50'
P. Dybala has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by J. Cuadrado.
GOOAAALLLL!!! DYBALA! Magnificent! It's 1-0 to Juve! Genoa had made a determined start to the second half, again flying into challenges, but Dybala has the home defence looking foolish. He dances past two challenges on the right corner of the area and can then cut inside onto his left to fire in a low shot that slips beyond Perin's fingertips.
Cuadrado collects the assist, although this was all of Dybala's making. The Colombian finds his team-mate with his back to goal outside the area.
48'
The flag goes up against Pinamonti, but replays suggest this is far tighter than it first seems. Juve's neat passing is interrupted, allowing Genoa to break. One long pass in behind beats De Ligt, and Pinamonti is only marginally beyond the last defender when he is flagged.
47'
Disappointing from Dybala. Juve win a free-kick on the right flank within seconds of the restart, allowing Ronaldo and their centre-backs to take position in the centre. But Dybala blasts the set-piece over everyone.
46'
A. Sanabria enters the game and replaces A. Favilli.
L. Lerager enters the game and replaces L. Schöne.
KICK-OFF: We are back up and running in Genoa!
Favilli was walking a tightrope for much of the first half and there are no risks as he bows out for Sanabria.
Lecce paid for a red card against Juve last week, so it makes sense for Genoa to sub their two booked stars at the break. Schone is off for Lerager.
45' +2
HALF-TIME: Genoa 0-0 Juventus
45' +1
L. Bonucci gets yellow.
Bonucci gets his revenge! The Juve defenders have been on the wrong end of a couple of Favilli challenges so far, but this time the Juve captain chops down his opponent and is booked.
There will be a minimum of one minute of added time at the end of this first half.
45'
Soumaoro maybe should do better. After Rabiot's foul, Genoa launch a free-kick into the area, where it eventually falls Soumaoro's way. The defender is a distance from the goal but might have a chance if he controls. The ball slips away from his toe, though.
44'
The referee is having to work hard to maintain control of this match. He initially lets play continue when Rabiot wrestles back the ball and tees up a Juve break, before changing his mind and awarding a free-kick.
42'
Cuadrado again plays a key role in seeing Juve clear the danger. A couple of blocks are required to stop speculative shots, before Cuadrado runs clear and wins a foul to relieve the pressure.
41'
Favilli may have squandered that chance, but Genoa are ending the half with some belated momentum. Crosses come in from first the right and then the left, ultimately winning a first home corner of the match.
39'
This match has already threatened to boil over on a couple of occasions. The referee gives Ghiglione a stern warning as he protests the latest clash between the sides.
34'
Wasteful from Danilo! With team-mates waiting in midfield, the left-back gets to the byline and hacks a cross out for a throw-in on the far side. Really disappointing.
33'
L. Schöne gets yellow.
Schone is booked for his foul on Rabiot in the centre of the pitch.
32'
Rabiot is looking to get involved. After a couple of neat early touches, he is forcing the issue now. One run in behind the Genoa midfield prompts a foul. Juve's momentum has just waned a little in recent minutes.
29'
Simple stuff for Perin in the end! Bernardeschi has the ball on the right and simply runs straight at the Genoa defence, forcing his way into the area and then prodding goalwards from an almost non-existent angle. Perin can pat the ball down and pounce on the rebound.
28'
Juve's set-pieces have been a really mixed bag. Genoa have not looked entirely convincing in defence, yet several of the deliveries have fallen short of the first man.
27'
Good defending from Soumaoro again! Dybala initially looks unstoppable as he sprints towards the box and trades passes with Ronaldo. But a heavy touch pushes the forward wide, where Soumaoro can get across to force the ball behind for a corner. That should have been an opening.
25'
A rare Genoa foray ends with a really poor Ghiglione cross, which clears everyone in the area. The hosts must take their opportunities to hurt Juve.
24'
De Ligt is frustrated! From a Juve corner, he maybe feels he should score. Bonucci distracts Sturaro at the near post, meaning a low ball falls around the penalty spot for his centre-back partner. De Ligt swings a leg, but Soumaoro is swiftly on the scene to block. A second corner is cleared.
23'
Some lovely skill from first Rabiot and then Ronaldo allows Juve to move down the right. Ronaldo eventually cuts inside to shoot on his left, with a deflection earning another corner.
21'
Ronaldo was not involved for the first 10 minutes but has been central to each and every move since. He so nearly frees Bernardeschi in the area, only for Soumaoro to step in.
20'
Genoa had a little joy with direct early play, but they can neither get a touch of the ball nor station their strikers in Juve's half right now. This feels like it might be a matter of time before a Bianconeri breakthrough.
19'
A Juve corner reaches Ronaldo on the far side of the box, where the forward shows off an array of tricks to eventually find a team-mate. The ball is worked back out to the right, but Cuadrado cannot find a black and white shirt. Juve keep the heat on.
18'
This is one-way traffic now. A cross from the left sneaks past a first attempted Genoa clearance, meaning Soumaoro has to be alert to block when Bernardeschi lashes in a shot.
17'
Almost an awkward one for Perin. The shots keep raining in from outside the area, and Ronaldo has another go. He is out on the left side of the box, though, and the shot curls in towards Perin, who can gather comfortably at the second attempt.
16'
The set-piece does not beat the first man this time, though. Juve will have to start again.
15'
Really poor from Soumaoro. Danilo pumps an aimless high ball forward, but the defender misjudges its flight and heads behind for a corner.
11'
Pjanic rushes a pass forward towards Bernardeschi, which a defender manages only to head into the path of Dybala. The forward controls instantly and races forward but hammers a low shot straight into the legs of the same Genoa man.
9'
Cuadrado has made a really solid start. He intervenes again when Cassata this time tries to go down the flank. Juve can build from the back.
7'
A. Favilli gets yellow.
It takes just seven minutes for the first card - perhaps unsurprisingly given the high-tempo start. Favilli is the latest to fly into a challenge but is late to Bonucci, who writhes in pain as the striker is booked.
6'
A first sight of goal for Juve comes from the counter as Bentancur moves the side forward. Dybala spins on the edge of the box and shoots low, with a deflection carrying the ball beyond a lunging Perin and wide. The corner comes to nothing, though.
5'
So smart from Juve! Another lofted pass is held up well by Favilli, who spreads the ball wide for a cross. But Bentancur cuts the ball out and plays a simple pass, with Juve then nudging possession around their own area, before Bentancur is freed to run clear. Risky business - but effective!
4'
Long balls forward are causing Juve a few early problems. De Ligt completely misses one header and is fortunate to find Bonucci battling behind him.
3'
There are a few rugged challenges flying in early on. Bernardeschi rugby-tackles Sturaro to the floor, before Behrami brilliantly strips Dybala of the ball. Genoa need the points just as much as Juve.
2'
The visitors quickly take control of the match, with Cuadrado fouled as Genoa try to get close to their opponents. The stand-in full-back soon wins another free-kick as he deals with a hurried Genoa clearance.

KICK-OFF: Juve get us under way!
Hello and welcome to our live text commentary of today's Serie A clash between Genoa and Juventus!
The pressure is on Juve again as they look to take another step towards the Scudetto. Title rivals Lazio are in action in the early kick-off against the Bianconeri's city neighbours Torino, where they have come from behind to lead 2-1 in the closing stages. Victory is set to move the capital club to within a point of the leaders.
Juve have not been entirely convincing since the season resumed. Even in a 4-0 defeat of Lecce last week, Maurizio Sarri's men only took control after an opposition red card. They will hope to return to form against another struggling side here.
Let's get the team news from the Stadio Luigi Ferraris...
Juventus (4-3-3): Wojciech Szczesny; Juan Cuadrado, Matthijs de Ligt, Leonardo Bonucci, Danilo; Rodrigo Bentancur, Miralem Pjanic, Adrien Rabiot; Federico Bernardeschi, Paulo Dybala, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Subs: Federico Marchetti, Cristian Zapata, Antonio Barreca, Edoardo Goldaniga, Lukas Lerager, Antonio Sanabria, Iago Falque, Davide Biraschi, Filip Jagiello, Goran Pandev, Mattia Destro, Nicolo Radaelli.
Genoa (3-5-2): Mattia Perin; Cristian Romero, Adama Soumaoro, Andrea Masiello; Paolo Ghiglione, Valon Behrami, Lasse Schone, Stefano Sturaro, Francesco Cassata; Andrea Pinamonti, Andrea Favilli.
Subs: Carlo Pinsoglio, Gianluigi Buffon, Aaron Ramsey, Douglas Costa, Blaise Matuidi, Gonzalo Higuain, Daniele Rugani, Marco Olivieri, Simone Muratore, Wesley.
Put under pressure by Lazio's win ahead of kick-off, Juve responded in fine fashion. They host rivals Torino - Lazio's opponents today - next. Genoa have work to do at the bottom of the table and can turn their focus towards a trip to Udinese.
That's all from this Juve win. Thanks for joining us and, until next time, goodbye!
