The corner is cleared by Soyuncu and Mike Dean blows the final whistle!
90' +4
W. Morgan enters the game and replaces H. Barnes.
A defensive switch for Leicester as Morgan replaces Barnes.
90' +2
We’re into the second of five minutes added time at Molineux.
89'
Traore drops in the cross, but Soyuncu rises highest to clear it. The defender then stays down, holding his head, though he will not require any treatment.
88'
B. Chilwell gets yellow.
Chilwell takes a booking after Traore took the ball around him. The foul gives Wolves the chance to get a cross in from a dangerous position on the right wing, though.
84'
Vardy gets the chance to run into the right-hand channel, taking Coady with him before laying it off to Praet. The Belgian lofts in a cross, but Patricio is on hand to take it in and start a counter-attack.
81'
João Moutinho enters the game and replaces Rúben Neves.
Wolves make their third and final change. Moutinho, who was a surprise omission from the starting XI, has replaced Neves.
80'
Whereas Wolves were crafting chances towards the end of the first half – and of course had a goal disallowed – they have not managed to create much in the way of clear cut opportunities so far since the restart. However, neither have Leicester, and both sides will need to step up the intensity if they wish to turn one point into three.
78'
Daniel Podence enters the game and replaces Diogo Jota.
Wolves look to make their numerical advantage count by making another change. Podence – a January signing – is on in place of Jota.
Minute
Description
76'
H. Choudhury gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
RED CARD! Well, Wolves certainly have the upper hand now. A sloppy touch put Choudhury in trouble and the midfielder, as he slipped, had little choice but to bring down Dendoncker and receive a second booking.
75'
D. Praet enters the game and replaces Y. Tielemans.
Another change for Leicester. Tielemans has been unable to exert his usual influence on proceedings and has made way for Praet.
69'
Traore’s introduction has certainly given Wolves a lift, and an injection of pace and intensity.. He is not involved as Jota lifts in a cross to Doherty, whose flick down to Jimenez ultimately leads to a corner.
68'
M. Albrighton enters the game and replaces Ayoze Pérez.
Here is that Leicester change. Perez is off, with Albrighton coming on.
66'
Traore has the chance to make an immediate impact as he picks up the ball in acres of space in the middle and proceeds to drive forward at blistering pace. Leicester’s defence are on their heels but Traore lets himself down with an overhit pass and the attack comes to nothing.
64'
Adama Traoré enters the game and replaces Pedro Neto.
Here’s the first change of the game and it’s Wolves who blink first. On is one of their main attacking outlets – Traore – who replaces Neto. Meanwhile, it looks like Albrighton may be about to come on for Leicester.
62'
Excellent defending from Tielemans, who does brilliantly to prevent his compatriot Dendoncker getting on the end of Jimenez’s cross, winning a free-kick in the process.
60'
No penalty! Maddison skips down the left before driving into the area and squaring up Saiss. The defender sticks out a shoulder and does just move into the playmaker, who takes a tumble. Mike Dean dismisses the appeals for a spot-kick, though.
59'
A Wolves attack breaks down and, for a moment, it looks like Perez will be able to break away. However, Saiss is quickly on hand to make a clean, crunching challenge and prevent the counter-attack.
58'
Much like early on in the first half, Tielemans finds himself in enough space to get a shot off. But, like his earlier strike, Patricio is equal to it.
55'
L. Dendoncker gets yellow.
A booking for Dendoncker, who dragged back Barnes to prevent the winger getting clear on the counter.
53'
Poor from Saiss, who hits his strike straight into the Leicester wall. A real waste of a decent opportunity for Wolves.
51'
H. Choudhury gets yellow.
A booking for Choudhury, who scythed down Jimenez 20 yards out as the Mexico forward looked to get a shot off.
49'
A cross from Tielemans seems to catch Wolves’ defence out slightly and Perez is almost afforded a free shot at goal. However, he is quickly crowded out and the hosts clear their lines at the second attempt. Meanwhile, Doherty has had to go off the pitch for some more treatment on that cut he sustained in the first half.
46'
We’re back up and running at Molineux!
45' +4
HALF-TIME: WOLVES 0-0 LEICESTER CITY.
45' +1
Rúben Neves gets yellow.
The Wolves bench and players are furious and Neves has received a yellow card for complaining to the referee. Leicester, meanwhile, have been handed a huge reprieve.
43'
Wolves are ending the first half on the front foot and, for all Leiecester’s possession, they are looking shaky at the back. Rodgers will be wanting the half-time break to come quickly.
39'
After an assessment, Doherty is back to his feet and it looks like he will be able to play on. First, though, Wolves will take the free-kick.
36'
J. Maddison gets yellow.
Maddison has received the first booking of the match for a high lunge on Doherty, who will require some treatment.
35'
A loose ball breaks for Vardy and he is finally able to make an impact in Wolves’ area. However, Boly stewards the striker well, blocking his cross before forcing the ball out of play off of the striker for a goal-kick.
33'
Doherty finds space down the right to get a cross in, but sees no team-mate in the area. Jimenez makes a late dart into the box as the Republic of Ireland international finally delivers, only to put too much on his cross.
31'
Jonny connects with a cross from his opposite wing-back Doherty, but sends his header high and wide of the left-hand upright.
29'
Chilwell is the Leicester player who puts the cross in this time and again Wolves’ defence aren’t at their best, as Evans wins the header. He can only flick it towards Soyuncu, though, whose cross is deflected harmlessly into the arms of Patricio.
28'
Clever play from Barnes, who – on his 50th Leicester appearance – relieves some pressure with a decent run down the left before winning a cheap foul from Dendoncker.
26'
There was a real sense of anticipation as Neves stepped up to take the set-piece, but he drills a tame effort straight into the wall. Wolves do keep up the pressure, however, with Jota forcing a throw-in down on the left flank.
25'
Great work from Jota, who robs Tielemans of possession and feeds Jimenez. In his desperation to make up for his mistake, Tielemans tugs lightly on the shirt of the Wolves striker and Mike Dean shows no hesitation in awarding the free-kick.
23'
Leicester have had close to 70 per cent of the possession, but their best chance to craft an opening may well be from a dead ball. Pereira has just won a foul down on the right, and Maddison will deliver the free-kick…
20'
Rodgers is taking notes down on the sideline, perhaps thinking about how to change things. It has been a bright start from his side but so far they haven’t been able to find any gaps in Wolves’ defence, with Maddison and Vardy particularly isolated.
18'
Another chance for Wolves as Neto delivers a drilled outswinging cross from a corner. Dendoncker is unmarked as he meets it but can’t manage to turn his header on target.
14'
As proved by Neto’s run a few moments ago, Wolves have more than enough ability to expose Leicester on the counter-attack. However, Espirito will be keen for his team not to invite too much pressure and allow their opponents to build up momentum.
12'
Schmeichel makes a comfortable save from a Boly header from the resulting corner and Leicester are immediately on the counter, with Vardy playing in Tielemans. The midfielder cannot get the ball out of his feet, though, allowing Wolves to recover.
5'
A long free-kick from Coady is met by Boly, who flicks it on towards Dendoncker at the back post. Schmeichel, however, is off his line quickly to take the ball in before it can reach its intended target.
3'
Leicester have made a positive start, controlling possession in the opening minutes. However, a fantastic pass from Jimenez finds Doherty and the visitors are momentarily put onto the back foot, but Chilwell manages to stem any danger.
2'
It appears there has been a slight shift for Wolves compared to the initial team sheet, with Saiss retaining his position in defence and Dendoncker partnering Neves in midfield.
1'
KICK-OFF! At the sound of Mike Dean’s whistle, Leicester get proceedings underway at Molineux.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of today’s Premier League match, as Wolves take on Leicester City.
Both sides headed into their winter breaks on the back of draws against Manchester United and Chelsea respectively, after a run of inconsistent form. Wolves have won just one of their last six league matches, while Leicester have three wins, two defeats and a draw to their name in the same time.
Leicester are still flying high, however, and – with an eight-point cushion on fourth-placed Chelsea – the Foxes would leapfrog Manchester City into second with a win at Molineux. Wolves, meanwhile, would move into the top six should they claim all three points.
TEAM NEWS – WOLVES (3-4-3): Rui Patricio; Leander Dendoncker, Conor Coady, Willy Boll; Matt Doherty, Ruben Neves, Romain Saiss, Jonny; Pedro Neto, Raul Jimenez, Diogo Jota.
TEAM NEWS – WOLVES SUBS: Daniel Podence, Morgan Gibbs-White, John Ruddy, Joao Moutinho, Adama Traore, Maximilian Kilman, Oskar Buur.
TEAM NEWS – LEICESTER SUBS: James Justin, Wes Morgan, Demarai Gray, Marc Albrighton, Danny Ward, Kelechi Iheanacho, Dennis Praet.
TEAM NEWS – LEICESTER (4-1-4-1): Kasper Schmeichel; Ricardo Pereira, Jonny Evans, Calgary Soyuncu, Ben Chilwell; Hamza Choudhury; Ayoze Perez, Youri Tielemans, James Maddison, Harvey Barnes; Jamies Vardy.
The corresponding fixture last term proved to be one of the games of the season, with Jota’s hat-trick inspiring Wolves to a dramatic 4-3 triumph. Hopefully we’ll be in for similar entertainment this time around. Both teams are out and kick-off is coming up next!
While Wolves will take the positives from an accomplished first-half display, Leicester will need to sharpen up in the second half if they are to make the most of their good fortune.
That’s all for now. Until next time, goodbye!
The result sees Wolves move into seventh, with a better goal difference than Everton, who they are level on points with. Leicester, meanwhile, remain in third place, a point behind Manchester City, who they face next week.
