É. Flores has scored a goal for Peru! Assist by J. Farfán.
Farfan claims the assist for passing the ball to Flores just outside the box, but all the credit has to go to the scorer for the composure he showed in front of goal.
GOOOOAAALLL!!! BOLIVIA 1-3 PERU! That should do it! Farfan plays the ball into the feet of Flores and bides his time before converting past Lampe, who was sent to the floor by a couple of dummies.
90' +4
Farfan has half a chance to kill off the match but his shot inside the box is blocked behind for a corner. Peru will no doubt work the ball short to see things through.
90' +3
C. Gonzáles enters the game and replaces P. Guerrero.
The final alteration of the match sees Peru skipper Guerrero replaced by Gonzales. There are two minutes to go.
90' +2
Peru do not really look as though they are going to concede. They are the side in control of the ball and Gareca looks ready to make a third and final change to eat up some more seconds.
90'
FIVE minutes have been added on at the end of the match in Rio.
89'
Guerrero rounds Lampe - as he did for Peru's first goal - but the angle is too tight on this occasion and he cannot pick out a team-mate.
88'
Abram scrambles the ball behind for a corner and all of a sudden Peru are looking very nervous. The ball is aimed towards Martins but he is crowded out by a few opposition players.
87'
Bolivia have been unable to keep hold of the ball over the last 15 minutes, not helped by the numerous stoppages - though those minutes should be added on at the end. Peru have had 58 per cent of the ball and will argue that they are worthy of their 2-1 lead.
85'
M. Araujo enters the game and replaces C. Zambrano.
Zambrano's match comes to an end a little earlier than planned because of a groin injury. Araujo is brought on in his place.
Minute
Description
82'
L. Haquín gets yellow.
Haquin is cautioned for protesting a decision that went against his side. Bolivia have a player down, which is not good news when all three subs have been used.
80'
G. Álvarez enters the game and replaces R. Castro.
Villegas makes his final sub by bringing on Alvarez for Castro with 10 minutes to go in Rio.
79'
É. Flores enters the game and replaces C. Cueva.
Flores is on for Cueva in Peru's first change of the match.
ANOTHER SAVE! Lampe is becoming far more involved in the match all of a sudden. Advincula's deflected shot is pushed aside, moments after Guerrero was denied from a header.
77'
DECENT ATTEMPT! Tapia shifts the ball onto his left boot and gets a shot away from outside the box. The effort is far too central to beat Lampe, though, with the Bolivia keeper happy to push it over the crossbar.
76'
Bolivia win a corner but nobody in a green shirt can get on the end of it. Leonardo Vaca then slips out on the left when trying to beat his man.
75'
Very little has happened since that big chance for Saavedra went begging. There has been a number of fouls, a couple of substitutions and a booking, but shots on target are few and far between. Bolivia have 15 minutes to snatch a vital point.
73'
L. Vaca enters the game and replaces E. Saavedra.
Saavedra is replaced by Leonardo Vaca in a straight swap from Villegas.
72'
R. Fernández gets yellow.
Bolivia sub Fernandez, on the field for just seconds, catches Polo and enters the referee's book.
71'
R. Fernández enters the game and replaces F. Saucedo.
Fernandez is on for Saucedo in the first substitution of the contest.
65'
SAVE! Peru left-back Trauco has a go from more than 25 yards out but the shot is blocked. Cueva then gets a shot away inside the box and Lampe has a rare save to make.
64'
Both teams have been guilty of giving the ball away far too easily over the last few minutes. The game has gone flat, though neither manager looks ready to make a change just yet.
62'
Peru are knocking the ball around, seemingly in no rush to get it forward. That is understandable, but they could do with a third goal to kill off their opponents.
59'
OVER! The onus is now on Bolivia to get at their opponents. Peru have been far from their best today and they could do with a second to make sure of the points. A cross from the right is nodded down by Guerrero and Farfan slices it over the crossbar.
55'
J. Farfán has scored a goal for Peru!
GOOOOAAAALLL!!! BOLIVIA 1-2 PERU! Farfan gives Peru the lead for the first time today with a strong header inside the six-yard box. Guerrero floats the ball into a dangerous zone, Farfan outmuscles his opponent and heads past Lampe.
54'
Peru face Brazil in their final Group A match, remember, whereas Bolivia have Venezuela to come - this would therefore be a better point for Villegas' side, particularly given that they are the lowest-ranked side in the competition.
52'
Marvin Bejarano watches the ball all the way and is able to help it behind for a corner before a Peruvian player can pounce towards the back post - good defending. The corner is pretty poor, gathered by Lampe five yards from his line.
50'
A pass is played 50 yards up the field but Jusino keeps Guerrero at arm's length and then wins his side a free-kick.
49'
The flag stays down and Farfan is able to continue his run, but he cannot pick out a team-mate with his cross from the byline. Bolivia are looking lively when they break forward. Martins tries and fails to bring the ball down inside the box.
47'
Just like in the first half, Peru have started the second half on top. And, again like in the first half, Polo cuts in from the right and gets a shot away. On this occasion, though, the effort is high and wide.
46'
RESTART! Peru, considered big favourites heading into the match, get us back underway at the Maracana.
45' +4
HALF-TIME: BOLIVIA 1-1 PERU
45' +2
That Guerrero goal changes the complexion of the game. Peru have been pretty flat but momentum is now on their side after scoring their first goal in this edition of the Copa America.
45'
P. Guerrero has scored a goal for Peru! Assist by C. Cueva.
Cueva played the ball into the path of Guerrero, who made the most of Lampe's poor positioning. Villegas will be furious with that goal, especially this close to half-time.
GOOOOOAAALLL!! BOLIVIA 1-1 PERU! Peru make the man advantage count as Guerrero levels up the match right before half-time. Saavedra loses the ball in midfield and Cueva makes the most of it by slipping the ball through for Guerrero, who prods it past Lampe - stranded 20 yards from his own goal - before rolling it into an empty net.
44'
Chumacero has dropped into the backline to compensate for the loss of Marvin Bejarano. Bolivia will end the half with 10 men, it seems.
42'
P. Guerrero gets yellow.
Guerrero closes down Marvin Bejarano as the Bolivia skipper tries to launch the ball up the field. He catches his opponent slightly late and is booked.
40'
Peru have taken control of possession over the last five minutes but, as was the case before Bolivia scored from the penalty spot, they are getting nowhere fast. Villegas would no doubt take another 50 minutes of this!
38'
The corner is deep and Farfan is unable to do a great deal with it when meeting the ball with his head 15 yards from goal.
37'
Justiniano is fouled and does not look all that comfortable as he gets back to his feet. Peru have really struggled since falling behind, but a stray ball is pounced on and the cross comes in from the right, leading to a corner being won.
35'
Bolivia put together a good passing move that culminates in Martins swinging the ball into the middle. Peru deal with the danger but they are the side looking more likely to concede the game's second goal.
33'
Gareca's side have had 60 per cent of the ball but, a weak shot on target inside the first few minutes aside, they have offered next to nothing in the final third. Credit must go to Bolivia for that - they have not made life easy for their opponents.
31'
Peru are struggling to find any real rhythm. Gareca described this as a must-win match, remember - his side have it all to do now.
30'
A. Chumacero gets yellow.
Chumacero catches Zambrano with his arm and is shown the second yellow card of the match.
28'
Penalty goal scored by M. Moreno for Bolivia!
GOOOOAAALLL!!! BOLIVIA 1-0 PERU! Martins sends the penalty towards the bottom left and Gallese guesses the opposite way. They have not offered a great deal in the opening half an hour but it is Bolivia who lead through a controversial penalty call.
27'
C. Zambrano gets yellow.
Zambrano is cautioned for the handball inside the area. Talk about rubbing salt into the wound!
22'
Farfan's free-kick clears the wall and clears the goal - it was well wide in the end.
21'
Some intricate passing around 25 yards from the Bolivia goal is too much for Villegas' side to handle. Farfan's feet are too quick for Justiniano, who concedes the free-kick. Can Peru make the most of this shooting opportunity?
19'
A dangerous cross is played in from the left and Martins very nearly connects with it eight yards out. Peru clear their lines but that is a bit of a warning for them. Bolivia are starting to find their stride at the Maracana.
17'
Farfan is clattered into and stays down. He does eventually get back to his feet but he is clutching his groin area - that is a worry for Gareca so early in the match. Play resumes and the ball is launched forward, but Lampe collects.
14'
Cueva carries the ball forward down the left but he passes it straight to a Bolivia player. There are plenty of green shirts in and around their own box, which is making it difficult for Peru to break them down.
12'
Peru's best play is coming down the right - Villegas may need to look at that. Bolivia are holding on a little at the moment, as many predicted would be the case.
10'
PENALTY APPEAL! Polo is looking lively on the right. He has three players to aim for in the middle but is unable to pick any of them out. Peru come forward again and Advincula goes to ground in the box seemingly under some contact from Marvin Bejarano, but VAR is referred to and no penalty is awarded.
8'
Saavedra initially shows some good footwork as Bolivia build a rare attack, but he passes the ball straight to a Peru defender when trying to thread it into the final third.
6'
Martins presses Zambrano high up the pitch, forcing the Peru defender to play the ball back to his goalkeeper. Gareca's side are seeing more of the ball and have already managed a couple of attempts - one blocked and one on target.
4'
The ball is played forward from deep but Lampe reads the danger well and is able to gather. Farfan looks to be playing in more of a central position today.
3'
EARLY SAVE! Polo, brought back into the side today, cuts inside from the right and gets a shot away. It is rather weak, though, and Lampe has a straightforward save to make early on.
1'
KICK-OFF! Bolivia, who have lost six Copa America matches in a row, get us up and running at the Maracana!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Copa America group-stage clash between Bolivia and Peru at the Maracana.
Not a lot was expected of Bolivia heading into the tournament due to their poor Copa America record, combined with their underwhelming run of form over the past couple of years. Taking the Brazil loss into account, Eduardo Villegas' side have now won just one of their last 17 matches. Peru's record is not much better - they have avoided defeat in only two of their last eight matches.
BOLIVIA (4-4-1-1): Carlos Lampe; Diego Bejarano, Luis Haquin, Adrian Jusino, Marvin Bejarano (c); Erwin Saavedra, Leonel Justiniano, Fernando Saucedo, Alejandro Chumacero; Raul Castro; Marcelo Moreno Martins.
Bolivia subs: Samuel Galindo, Jose Carrasco, Roberto Fernandez, Mario Cuellar, Javier Rojas, Ruben Cordano, Saul Torres, Gilbert Alvarez, Leonardo Vaca, Ramiro Vaca, Diego Wayar, Cristian Arano.
PERU (4-2-3-1): Pedro Gallese; Luis Advincula, Carlos Zambrano, Luis Abram, Miguel Trauco; Renato Tapia, Yoshimar Yotun; Jefferson Farfan, Christian Cueva, Andy Polo; Paolo Guerrero (c).
Peru subs: Raul Ruidiaz, Edison Flores, Patricio Alvarez, Josepmir Ballon, Miguel Araujo, Jesus Pretell, Andre Carrillo, Christofer Gonzales, Anderson Santamaria, Aldo Corzo, Alexander Callens, Carlos Caceda.
Bolivia suffered a 3-0 loss to Brazil in their opening Group A fixture, while Peru played out a goalless draw with Venezuela, who had to see out the final 15 minutes with 10 men. Tournament hosts Brazil are the strong favourites to finish top of the standings, but the battle for second is wide open, making this a huge fixture for both sides. Indeed, two third-place sides will progress through to the quarter-finals so there is plenty to play for.
Ricardo Gareca makes just one change from the stalemate with Venezuela by bringing in Polo - a second-half sub last time out - for Gonzales. Guerrero was involved in the most shots for Peru in their opening game, attempting four and also creating three chances, and he is very much the focal point of this side. Cueva has recovered from a knock in time to feature.
Peru had a penalty appeal turned down 10 minutes in when Advincula argued that he was brought down by Marvin Bejarano in the area. Polo, brought back into the team by Gareca today, also had a shot saved inside the first few minutes but that aside the Peruvians offered little before their goal arrived. Do not be surprised to see a change made at the interval.
Group A now has a slightly different look to it as Peru climb above tournament hosts Brazil, who play their game in hand against Venezuela a little later. Bolivia are bottom on zero points from their two matches, but they could yet make it through with victory in their last round-robin game.
Thanks for joining our coverage today. Until next time, goodbye!
