Milan go from protesting the lack of yellow cards to complaining about the awarding of one after Musacchio brought down Immobile.

68'
Kessie gets kicked from behind by Acerbi and the latter is called for the foul. That could have been a yellow from a different referee.

GOOOALLLLL!!!! LAZIO TAKE THE LEAD! From the Milan corner, the visitors broke at pace and wound up with a three on two. Immobile drifted inside and then played the ball to Correa in space who kept his cool, and slotted the ball under a charging Reina. Brilliant move that! AC Milan 0-1 Lazio

Awkward moment at the back from Milan as Caldara attempted a clearance that was stopped entirely by the abdomen of Bakayoko. He's doubled over at the moment but should be okay to continue.

Milinkovic-Savic is indeed withdrawn as Parolo comes on to replace him in central midfield.

Hello, and welcome to our live commentary of this Coppa Italia match between AC Milan v Lazio!
Today these two sides take a break from a tight race for a Champions League spot in Serie A, and instead turn their attentions towards trying to win advance to the Coppa Italia final. With the match level (0-0) coming into this second leg, can the hosts win to push them into their second consecutive final in this competition or can Lazio make it past the semi-finals for the first time since 2017?
Now, let's take a look at the team news!
AC Milan (3-4-3): Mateo Musacchio, Alessio Romagnoli, Mattia Caldara; Davide Calabria, Franck Kessie, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Diego Laxalt; Suso, Krzysztof Piatek, Samu Castillejo.
AC Milan substitutes: Hakan Calhanoglu, Andrea Bertolacci, Cristian Zapata, Antonio Donnarumma, Lucas Paqueta, Patrick Cutrone, Ignazio Abate, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Lucas Biglia, Fabio Borini, Andrea Conti, Ricardo Rodriguez.
Lazio (3-5-1-1): Thomas Strakosha; Luiz Felipe, Francesco Acerbi, Bastos; Romulo, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Lucas Leiva, Luis Alberto, Senad Lulic; Joaquin Correa; Ciro Immobile.
Lazio substitutes: Silvio Proto, Riza Durmisi, Guido Guerrieri, Felipe Caicedo, Adam Marusic, Danilo Cataldi, Marco Parolo, Milan Badelj, Wallace, Patric, Pedro Neto, Bruno Jordao.
Lazio make six changes of their own following their 2-1 loss to Chievo Verona in which Milenkovic-Savic and Alberto were both shown red cards. Fortunately for them, those red cards do not transfer to Coppa Italia play, allowing both to be in the starting XI today. Joining them are Felipe, Bastos, Lucas, Romulo, Lulic, and Correa while Patric, Radu, Badelj, Marusic, Durmisi, and Caicedo all drop to the bench. Immobile could well prove the difference maker upfront as he leads the club in both goals (14) and shots on target (46). Can he make a meaningful mark for the visitors today?
It will be interesting to see how these two clubs approach the second half. Considering both have already been forced into a change, don't be surprised if we have to wait some time before seeing more. The hosts do need to change something though as their new star forward, Piatek, has been starved for service up front. They may do well to pull Suso back a little bit further to provide chances forward to Piatek rather than the Spaniard playing on the back line himself. As for Lazio, they should probably just stick with what was working at the end of the first half and wait to see what the hosts do before making changes.
That will do it for our live coverage of this Coppa Italia match between AC Milan and Lazio! We hope you enjoyed following along, and will join us again soon!
Now these two sides will have to switch their attention back to Serie A where both are trying to secure a vital Champions League spot. Milan, are in the top four at the moment and will hope to remain so after their coming league match against Torino at the weekend. As for Lazio, they currently sit in eighth, but just four points behind today's opponents. The Biancocelesti will be hoping to ride the momentum from today's win into another on Sunday when they travel to face Sampdoria.
