Southampton relieve the pressure, and win a free-kick in their end, as they look to run the final minute off the clock now. In no rush to take this are the visitors, with both sides looking content settling for a share of the spoils.
90' +2
Into the second of five added minutes, and Watford are pushing on for a winner, now beaming with confidence after restoring parity. These are some nervy moments for Southampton, under some pressure as the home supporters will the Hornets forward.
90'
A. Gray has scored a goal for Watford! Assist by D. Janmaat.
Assist Daryl Janmaat
WATFORD EQUALISE AT THE DEATH! 1-1! Southampton will be kicking themselves! A slice of luck sees a cross in from the right fall kindly for Gray, and the striker wastes no time smashing a finish into the top corner from five yards! Gunn got his hands to it, but just couldn't get enough of a touch to keep it out!
86'
This has been a great display of professionalism from Southampton in seeing this out. They look in complete control with time winding down, but Watford are starting to throw caution to the wind. It's shaping up to be a very tense finish.
82'
Into the final 10 minutes now and Watford need to dig deep. Time is running out on them to find an equaliser, but it's Southampton who are spending all the time in possession, as they have set up camp in the attacking half.
80'
A. Masina gets yellow.
Sims does well to get beyond Masina, who is forced into a foul to halt the substitute's run. That's a yellow for the full-back, a fifth of the match shown to a Watford player.
78'
Y. Valery enters the game and replaces S. Long.
Southampton go to the bench for the final time as Valery comes on at the expense of Long, as they add another body in defence.
77'
I. Success enters the game and replaces W. Hughes.
A second change for Watford sees Success come on as the hosts introduce yet another striker, with Hughes giving way.
75'
C. Kabasele gets yellow.
Great work from Mike Dean who does well to position himself as he awards a free-kick to Southampton as Kabasele clumsily takes out Long on the edge of the penalty area. Southampton had appealed for a penalty, but the contact came just outside the box and Dean did well to spot it. It's also a yellow for Kabasele.

Description
74'
M. Lemina enters the game and replaces Oriol Romeu.
It's Romeu who gives way for Southampton, as Lemina takes his place in a straight swap in midfield.
73'
Southampton appear to have another substitute ready to come on, with Lemina receiving some last-minute instructions. There's not a lot of activity on the Watford bench, however, which is a bit of a surprise.
71'
Play resumes with Yoshida able to rejoin his side following a short stint on the touchline, with the stoppage appearing to work in Southampton's favour as it has helped to slow the tempo down again and just offer the visitors some respite at the back.
67'
J. Sims enters the game and replaces S. Armstrong.
Southampton's first change of the match sees Sims replace Armstrong on the flank.
63'
Deflected wide! Concentrated pressure from Watford culminates in a shooting chance for Janmaat, but his effort from 20 yards deflects behind for a corner. Southampton are being hemmed back here.
61'
Watford have turned up the heat as they're committing more bodies forward in search of an eqauliser. They're definitely attacking with more urgency, and Southampton are scrambling a bit to get their shape back.
59'
There's a good tempo to this match with both sides eager to get forward, but the ideas just aren't coming off in the final third as the chances haven't been able to follow.
57'
Deulofeu gets yellow.
Deulofeu doesn't look any worse for wear as he's back out on the pitch after a very breif spell on the touchline. He sees yellow after catching Stephens with a late challenge.
54'
Watford break threateningly following a Southampton free-kick, and Gray leads the charge. He has options to his left, but opts to go about it on his own as he runs himself into some trouble before seeing his eventual shot blocked.
50'
CLOSE! Great attacking play from Watford as Deulofeu finds Femenia out wide, and he clips a cross in for Doucoure, who sprints to meet it but just gets the timing of his jump wrong as he heads a tame effort straight at Gunn.
48'
A bit of a slow start to the second half as both sides exchange possession, but there's no real tempo as a couple of fouls and an offside result in play stopping and starting with great frequency.
46'
Kiko Femenía enters the game and replaces C. Cathcart.
Watford make one change - and quite the attacking one at that - at the break, as Kiko Femenia replaces Cathcart.
The second half is underway!
45' +2
J. Bednarek gets yellow.
A late foul from Bednarek on Capoue sees the Southampton defender into the book on the stroke of half-time.
HALF-TIME: WATFORD 0-1 SOUTHAMPTON.
45'
There will be just one minute added on at the end of this first half.
44'
BIG CHANCE!! Absolutely sumptuous stuff from Doucoure who produces a delightful first touch before picking out Deulofeu in the area. The Spaniard turns and drags a shot towards the far post, but it drifts just wide!
42'
Southampton are really pressing for a second before the interval. They've greatly upped the urgency once again and have Watford very much on the back foot as a result. The hosts are looking vulnerable with half-time approaching.
40'
A. Doucouré gets yellow.
Doucoure becomes the second Watford player booked on the night for a really cynical trip of Armstrong at the halfway line. He was beaten, and made no qualms about tripping the winger up from behind.
36'
There's really not a whole lot happening for Watford right now in possession. They're not spending a ton of time on the ball, and when they do have it they seem to be lacking n ideas.
34'
Appeals for a penalty are turned down by the referee, and rightfully so, as Hughes knocked his man down on the edge of the penalty area. The contact came outside the box, and there wasn't much in it regardless, as Southampton's appeals are denied. Redmond keeps possession, however, and tees up Long with an inviting cross, but the striker heads over the bar.
32'
Watford aren't too combative with Southampton in possession. They're doing well to close down their gaps, but they really aren't pressing with much intensity to try and win it back, which is allowing the visitors to knock it about with relative ease.
30'
Through 30 minutes and it's advantage Southampton, both on the scoreboard and in terms of the balance of play. They're eager to pull away from the bottom three and secure their Premier League status for next season, and that's showing in their urgency.
26'
É. Capoue gets yellow.
Capoue jumpes into a challenge on Romeu and the referee didn't like the nature of that, as he shows the Watford midfielder a yellow. A little retribution for Capoue, perhaps, for Romeu's earlier foul.
23'
Southampton are enjoying more possession over the last five minutes, despite doing precious little with it. Watford are lacking a bit of intensity, though, which is just allowing the visitors to keep the ball just inside the halfway line.
21'
Watford have done really well to settle into their shape, giving Southampton little joy in possession. The visitors aren't having any success keeping possession or managing any sustained pressure, and a lack of movement off the ball is also partly to blame.
19'
The tempo is really slowing here with the ball being contained largely in midfield. It's turning into quite the tactical duel in the middle third of the pitch, with both sides tightening up at the back.
17'
Oriol Romeu gets yellow.
Romeu concedes possession in the attacking half to Capoue, and with cover lacking he trips the midfielder to prevent Watford from breaking quickly. It's a professional foul - one he's forced himself into - and a yellow card.
14'
The hosts look an increasing threat every time they get forward, really responding well to that dreadful start. Southampton need to settle things down here and stop inviting Watford forward.
10'
Watford are dominating possession despite the early set-back. A long ball is hoofed down the left for Gray to chase but Bednarek beats him to it and sticks it out of play for a throw-in deep in Southampton's half.
8'
Masina whips a cross in from the left, looking for Gray. The striker manages to get a touch on it but it's a loose one and Southampton are able to clear the danger.
6'
Long goes in overzealously on Kabasele and concedes a free-kick in Watford's half. The hosts have not looked too rattled by that early goal.
2'
Hughes finds Gray in the centre of the box and his effort is straight at Gunn! The ball rebounds back to Gray but he's unable to guide a header on target at the second attempt.
1'
S. Long has scored a goal for Southampton!
The game is under way at Vicarage Road!
GOOOOOAL! IT'S THE FASTEST EVER PREMIER LEAGUE GOAL! With just seven seconds on the clock! Watford pass back to Cathcart from kick-off and Long blocks him before latching onto the loose ball and slotting home.
