WHAT A STRIKE!!! Atalanta 1-2 Milan – Calhanoglu sends the away fans wild with a stunning effort from the edge of the box. Milan looked destined to share the lead at the break, but Rodriguez decided to carry the ball over halfway. Piatek demanded the ball and it came from the left wing and he has somehow managed to volley over his shoulder and into the far corner.

WHAT A GOAL!!!!! Atalanta 1-0 Milan - Gasperini's troops keep the ball for over a minute and pass their way around the park. They eventually get into the box and Illcic cuts the ball back looking for a team-mate. Two or three Atalanta players make their way into the box and it is Freuler that fires towards goal. His right-footed shot is saved by Donnarumma but he does not do enough and it trickles over the line behind him.

We are underway. Atalanta in their traditional blue and black kit, while Milan are in their all-white strip.
Hello and welcome to tonight's live coverage of the Serie A contest between Atalanta and AC Milan from the Atleti Azzurri d'Italia.
A cracking game is in prospect this evening as fourth-placed Milan travel to fifth-placed Atalanta, with just a point separating the two teams. Atalanta are on a fine run of late and are unbeaten in eight in all competitions, while Milan arrive without a defeat in five.
These two sides last met in September, with a 2-2 draw being played out at the San Siro. The last two meetings have been draws and a close game is expected.
ATALANTA (3-4-3): Etrit Berisha; Rafael Toloi, Berat Djimsiti, Jose Luis Palomino; Hans Hateboer, Remo Freuler, Marten de Roon, Timothy Castagne; Josip Illcic, Alejandro Gomez (C), Duvan Zapata.
SUBS: Pierluigi Gollini, Arkadiusz Reca, Gianluca Mancini, Dejan Kulusevski, Matteo Pessina, Mario Pasalic, Robin Gosens, Ibanez, Musa Barrow, Francesco Rossi, Andrea Masiello.
MILAN (4-3-3): Gianluigi Donnarumma; Davide Calabria, Mateo Musacchio, Alessio Romagnoli (C), Ricardo Rodriguez; Franck Kessie, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Lucas Paqueta; Suso, Krzysztof Piatek, Hakan Calhanoglu.
SUBS: Antonio Donnarumma, Riccardo Montolivo, Andrea Bertolacci, Jose Mauri, Patrick Cutrone, Andrea Conti, Diego Laxalt, Samu Castillejo, Fabio Borini, Alessandro Plizzari, Lucas Biglia, Ignazio Abate.
The two teams are now out on the field and we are just minutes away from kick off.
Milan have not done enough to bring Suso and Calhanoglu into the game and they are losing the midfield battle. Gattuso may look to change his tactics at the break but Atalanta will feel they can still win if they keep up this current performance level.
That is all for tonight folks, thanks for joining us. Goodbye!
Milan move four points clear of Atalanta after tonight's success and in doing so they cut the gap between themselves and rivals Inter Milan. Gattuso's side are by far the finished article but with Piatek up front they have a real dangerman at the highest level. Atalanta will look to bounce back after their unbeaten run comes to an end after a sloppy second-half display.
