122'
Penalty shootout: C. Immobile (Lazio) scored!
121'
Penalty shootout: M. Brozović (Inter Milan) scored!
120' +5
Penalty goal scored by M. Icardi for Inter Milan!
ICARDI SENDS THE GAME TO PENALTIES! With the final kick of extra-time, Icardi rolls his spot-kick just under the reach of Strakosha and parity is restored! Unbelievable!
FULL-TIME: INTER 1-1 LAZIO.
120' +4
Ş. Radu goes off after a red card!
PENALTY AND A RED CARD! The foul was deemed to have occured just inside the area, and a penalty is awarded! Incredible drama at the death! And to top things off, Radu is issued a red card! It's not entirely clear what for just yet, but he must have said something to the referee.
120'
There will be two minutes added on at the end of this match. The intensity is as high as could possibly be.
Minute
Description
118'
The delay for that VAR check should result in a couple minutes of stoppage time, and Inter are going to need it. They're sending every ball they can into the box, and Lazio are coming under heavy threat, but it's just not falling kindly for the hosts!
116'
K. Asamoah gets yellow.
Only a yellow! Well Asamoah escapes with one as the referee revokes the red card and only issues a yellow to the full-back. He was excellently placed for that challenge - not sure what he saw any differently in the replay than he saw live, but he's changed his mind nonetheless!
112'
Time is of the essence now for Inter, who have thrown everyone forward in search of an equaliser. They have a number of attacking players out there, but it's going to be awfully hard to find an opening now with Lazio keeping everybody back to defend this lead.
110'
C. Immobile gets yellow.
M. Brozović gets yellow.
Immobile is booked at the conclusion of a lengthy celebration, for taking his shirt off. Those are the rules, but it doesn't mean they're right.
Brozovic is booked for dissent, protesting a D'Ambrosio foul on Caicedo.
108'
C. Immobile has scored a goal for Lazio! Assist by F. Caicedo.
Assist Felipe Salvador Caicedo Corozo
LAZIO HAVE THE BREAKTHROUGH! 1-0! They've huffed, they've puffed and they've finally blown the house down! Handanovic is beaten at long last and it's a bit of a scrappy goal from the visitors as Immobile's effort squeaks in at the near post with the aid of a deflection off D'Ambrosio.
106'
Back underway at San Siro, with just 15 minutes for these sides to find a winner or it's headed to penalties.
105' +1
HALF-TIME: INTER 0-0 LAZIO.
105'
R. Nainggolan enters the game and replaces A. Candreva.
Cédric Soares enters the game and replaces M. Politano.
There will be one minute added on at the end of this first half in extra-time.
Cedric Soares comes on for his Inter debut as he replaces Politano for the final 15 minutes.
A final change for the hosts sees Nainggolan come on at the expense of Candreva.
101'
M. Parolo enters the game and replaces Luis Alberto.
Both teams get a fourth change with the match in extra-time, and Lazio use theirs to bring on Parolo, with a very tired Luis Alberto giving way.
96'
Lucas Leiva gets yellow.
Lucas plows through the back of Icardi as he's issued a yellow card - the seventh of the match.
PENALTY APPEALS DENIED! Icardi goes to ground in a heap, appearing to be shoved in the back by Milinkovic-Savic. Inter furiously appeal for a penalty, but nothing is given.
91'
Underway in the first half of extra-time.
90' +4
FULL-TIME: INTER 0-0 LAZIO.
90' +3
THAT SHOULD HAVE WON IT! An absolutely glorious chance for Inter to snatch it at the death as a cross falls kindly for Politano at the far post, but Strakosha makes a stunning save to deny him from point-blank range, before Martinez scuffs his rebound horribly over the bar with the goal gaping!
90'
There will be four minutes added on at the end of this match, and then another 30 if there's not a winner.
88'
F. Caicedo enters the game and replaces J. Correa.
Caicedo replaces Correa up top with Lazio's final change.
87'
S. Milinković-Savić gets yellow.
And now Milinkovic-Savic sees yellow for a bad foul on Asamoah. The bookings are really piling up.
86'
A. Marušić gets yellow.
Inter try and break threateningly following a Lazio corner, but Marusic puts an end to that with a foul on Martinez, taking one for the team as he's issued a yellow card.
82'
M. Vecino gets yellow.
The fourth yellow of this match is shown to Vecino, for dissent.
81'
L. Martínez enters the game and replaces João Mário.
Inter make their second change as well, and their first since the interval, as Martinez comes on to partner Icardi in attack, at the expense of Joao Mario.
80'
R. Durmisi enters the game and replaces S. Lulić.
A second Lazio change comes out wide as Durmisi replaces Lulic.
78'
The tides have really turned in this second half, with Inter growing in stature as the minutes pass. They're on top at the moment with momentum firmly on their side, as Lazio failed to capitalise yet again on their dominance in the opening hour.
76'
INCHES AWAY! An absolutely glorious chance for Inter to break the deadlock as Vecino rises to meet Politano's free-kick in from the left, and has Strakosha beaten with his header, but it grazes the top of the bar as is winds up crashing onto the roof of the net!
73'
Ş. Radu gets yellow.
Tempers are rising and the challenges are flying in. Radu is the latest to test the referee's patience with a hard foul on Candreva, which sees him into the book.
70'
Bastos enters the game and replaces Wallace.
Wallace pulled up lame following that challenge and an injury will bring an end to his match as he's replaced by Bastos.
68'
Wallace gets yellow.
Wallace didn't even try and hide that. The defender sprints to try and get back in position with Inter on a break, and dives forward head first, using his arm to trip up Miranda. Clear yellow for him.
66'
Everything but the finish! Candreva tries to atone for that horrible miss a few minutes ago as he embarks on a lovely individual run, skipping beyond defenders at will before driving a shot wide of the near post! That deserved a better end product.
60'
An hour gone now and no closer to an opener. Things are opening up more and more, but both sides have lacked a bit of sharpness inside the final third.
58'
Lazio are finding all sorts of space on the counter, as they have all match, with Inter unable to close their gaps. Immobile sprints down the left and picks out Milinkovic-Savic with his pull-back, but the midfielder can't trouble Handanovic with his final effort.
56'
He's a lucky boy! Miranda leaps with reckless abandon into the back of Correa, leading with his elbow into the back of the striker's head! It's an incredibly dangerous play that apparently goes unspotted by the referee. Correa gets up and takes exception, before being shoved to the ground by Skriniar. Neither of the Inter centre-backs are issued a caution, though.
50'
Big chance wasted! Inter have started the second half much better than they looked at any point in the first, but it's Lazio who get the best chance as Immobile is played through into the area following a quick counter, but a heavy touch sees the ball run safely into the arms of Handanovic!
46'
M. Vecino enters the game and replaces R. Gagliardini.
One change at the break for Inter as Vecino comes on in place of Gagliardini.
Back underway at San Siro!
45'
HALF-TIME: INTER 0-0 LAZIO.
44'
R. Gagliardini gets yellow.
Gagliardini picks up the first yellow card of the night for a late and cynical challenge in midfield.
43'
A brief spell of prominence from Inter is weathered by Lazio, who are back on the ball and looking to make a strong end to this first half.
39'
Inzaghi is incensed as Lulic is penalised for a foul on the flank, affording Inter a free-kick in a dangerous area. The ensuing delivery is whipped in invitingly, and it bounces around for a second in the area, but Icardi just can't get a foot to it before Lazio clear.
37'
As well as Lazio are playing, they need to start making their dominance count. This was the same performance we saw from them Sunday against Juventus, taking the game to the Bianconeri and absolutely dominating in terms of chances. They couldn't turn that into a lopsided scoreline, however, and Juventus eventually made them pay.
35'
Inter need to get into the interval and regroup. They're running shockingly low on creativity, and no one has stepped up to offer a link between midfield and attack. It's been a frustrating first half for the hosts and the fans are letting them know it.
33'
THEY'RE COMING CLOSER! Relentless pressure from Lazio as Inter find themselves under the cosh! Milinkovic-Savic gets forward to latch onto a diagonal ball in from the left, but just can't get the contact right as he sends a glancing header narrowly wide.
25'
Inches wide! Another threat issued by Lazio as Immobile is played in by Luis Alberto, but the striker shoots just wide. The offside flag was raised anyways, so it wouldn't have counted.
23'
It's all been quite pedestrian from Inter on the ball. Possession stats have been even but Inter's has been ponderous at best, just knocking it about in midfield and hoping for something to happen.
21'
Inter haven't been able to get Icardi involved at all thus far. He's been on an island up top, being asked to drop very deep to get on the ball, which is exactly where they don't want him operating from.
19'
Lazio have clearly looked the more decisive team in possession. They seem to have a clear idea in attack and that understanding among one another has helped them create a consistent threat on the front foot.
15'
The pace is picking up! Gagliardini forces a turnover in midfield and Inter break threateningly, but Joao Mario just can't sort his footing as the chance goes begging. Back the other way come Lazio in a hurry, but they can't find the decisive ball on the break.
13'
An overzealous challenge from Skriniar on Correa awards Lazio a free-kick in a very dangerous area, just over 20 yards out from goal. Luis Alberto winds up being the one to take, but he lashes his effort off the top of the wall and harmlessly behind for a corner.
11'
Immobile's movement off the ball is causing Inter a few problems early on, but he's just not getting the timing right. An offside decision lets Inter off the hook following an inviting throughball, but Immobile was clearly well behind the defence when that was played through.
9'
Lazio have a real spring in their step when they get in possession, always looking to get forward quickly, in stark contrast to Inter who are opting to pass the ball around at a snail's pace when they possess it.
5'
Inter have settled in following the shaky start and are enjoying a prolonged spell on the ball, though they're showing little urgency to get forward as they pass in around inside their own half.
3'
The visitors start on the front foot with some tidy attacking play putting the Inter defence under pressure. Correa just can't sort his footing to break free on the end of a throughball, before Handanovic collect a Luis Alberto cross moments later to snuff out the threat.
1'
AND THEY'RE OFF! Lazio get the match underway at San Siro.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of this Coppa Italia quarter-final as Inter welcome Lazio to San Siro!
Inter last appeared in the Coppa Italia semi-finals in 2016, with their last final appearance coming back in 2011 when they won the competition. Lazio have been semi-finalists in each of the last two seasons, and four of the last six, making the final on three of those occasions.
There is just one more spot up for grabs in the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia, and the field is wide open after Juventus – winners of the last four editions of the competition – were eliminated by virtue of a 3-0 defeat in Atalanta.
Both of these come into the match having failed to win in their last two league matches, with their last victories coming in the last 16 of the Coppa Italia – the first matches of 2019 for both clubs.
Lazio have the luxury of an extra day’s rest before their next league match which could allow Simone Inzaghi to name a stronger side, but with both Juventus and Napoli already out of the competition, each coach should be trying to have a real go at what looks a great shot at silverware this season.
CONFIRMED TEAM NEWS:
SUBS: Marco Parolo, Guido Guerrieri, Pedro Neto, Riza Durmisi, Bastos, Milan Badelj, Silvio Proto, Felipe Caciedo, Valon Berisha.
LAZIO (3-5-2): Thomas Strakosha; Wallace, Francesco Acerbi, Stefan Radu; Adam Marusic, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Lucas Leiva, Luis Alberto, Senad Lulic; Ciro Immobile, Joaquin Correa.
SUBS: Cedric Soares, Daniele Padelli, Radja Nainggolan, Dalbert, Andrea Ranocchia, Matias Vecino, Lautaro Martinez, Ivan Perisic, Tommaso Berni, Borja Valero, Eddie Salcedo.
INTER (4-2-3-1): Samir Handanovic; Danilo D'Ambrosio, Milan Skriniar, Miranda, Kwadwo Asamoah; Roberto Gagliardini, Marcelo Brozovic; Antonio Candreva, Joao Mario, Matteo Politano; Mauro Icardi.
Lazio have unquestionably been the brighter of the two sides, but have nothing to show for their play through 45 minutes with Samir Handanovic holding the fort down at the back for Inter, who have struggled to get anything going at the other end.
Now that the Ivan Perisic transfer saga is over he would figure to be available off the bench in this second half. The Croatian's direct, positive play is exactly the sort of thing Inter have been lacking thus far.
To extra-time they go at San Siro! Somehow, another 30 minutes are needed to decide the final place in the Coppa Italia semi-finals, with Samir Handanovic and Thomas Strakosha putting in sensational performances to ensure the match remained goalless through a wildly entertaining second half.
It seems like these clubs are going to have to sell their soul to the devil himself in order to beat these keepers tonight, with both on the very top of their game. Handanovic and Strakosha starred again in the first half of extra-time, with penalties looking increasingly likely.
Unscripted, unadulturated drama at San Siro, as this match is headed to penalties! The referee had two big decisions to make regarding the Asamoah red card and the Inter penalty, and he looks to have got them both wrong. Lazio will feel hard done by, but you can't ask for much more drama as Mauro Icardi's spot-kick in the 125th minute sends the match to penalties.
INTER STRIKE FIRST! Brozovic sends Strakosha the wrong way - not that it mattered - as he slots a perfect penalty into the top corner.
LAZIO LEVEL! Immobile makes it 1-1, just squeezing that under Handanovic, who did get a touch.
MARTINEZ IS SAVED! Strakosha guesses right to keep out the striker's penalty and it's advantage Lazio!
HANDANOVIC TO THE RESCUE! Lazio can't take advantage of Martinez's miss as Durmisi is denied as well!
CHEEKY! Inter back in front 2-1 as Icardi's panenka fools Strakosha.
INTER LEAD AGAIN! Cedric sends Strakosha the wrong way and it's 3-2 Inter!
EVEN AT TWO! Parolo responds confidently for Lazio, converting his pressure penalty to restore parity.
ACERBI KEEPS HIS NERVE! Plenty of power behind that one from the centre-back as he smashes one beyond Handanovic!
HE'S SKIED IT! A moment of disbelief for Nainggolan who blasts his decisive penalty over the bar! Lazio can win it here...
LAZIO THROUGH TO THE SEMI-FINALS! Lucas Leiva tucks a terrific penalty just inside the post, with Handanovic guessing wrong anyway, and Lazio are into the semi-final!
FULL-TIME: INTER 1-1 LAZIO (3-4 on pens).
That's all for our live coverage, thanks for following along. Goodbye!
