Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Coppa Italia quarter-final match between Atalanta and Juventus at Atleti Azzurri d'Italia.
Atalanta left it late to secure their qualification into this round of the competition as they scored two goals in the last five minutes to beat Cagliari 2-0. Juventus also progressed from the round of 16 with a 2-0 victory over Bologna. Both sides come into this game on good runs of form; the home side are unbeaten in their previous five games in all competitions (W3 D2), while Juvetus have won seven of their last eight (D1).
ATALANTA STARTING XI (3-4-2-1): Etrit Berisha; Jose Luis Palomino, Rafael Toloi, Berat Djimsiti; Remo Freuler, Hans Hateboer, Marten de Roon, Timothy Castagne; Alejandro Gomez, Josip Ilicic; Duvan Zapata.
ATALANTA SUBS: Andrea Masiello, Mario Pasalic, Pierluigi Gollini, Ali Adnan Kadhim, Musa Barrow, Gianluca Mancini, Dejan Kulusevski, Roberto Piccoli, Francesco Rossi, Robin Gosens.
JUVENTUS STARTING XI (4-3-3): Wojciech Szczesny; Mattia De Sciglio, Alex Sandro, Daniele Rugani, Giorgio Chiellini; Blaise Matuidi, Sami Khedira, Rodrigo Bentancur; Paulo Dybala, Federico Bernardeschi, Cristiano Ronaldo.
JUVENTUS SUBS: Douglas Costa, Miralem Pjanic, Leonardo Spinazzola, Moise Kean, Carlo Pinsoglio, Mattia Perin, Martin Caceres, Joao Cancelo, Emre Can.
These two sides met in the semi-final of the competition last season and Juventus came out on top with a 2-0 aggregate win on their way to pick up the trophy for the fourth consecutive year.
The teams are coming out of the tunnel now, with kick-off just moments away.
Two goals in two minutes means that Atalanta take a 2-0 lead into half-time. The home side were on top in the first half and could have had a couple more goals if not for some good saves from Szczesny. Juventus have been poor so far and it took them until the last five minutes of the half to register a shot on goal. Allegri won't be watching the rest of the game from the touchline either, after being sent to the stands following an angry reaction to Atalanta's second goal.
Juventus need to make a change at the break, either in personnel or tactics, as their game plan just hasn't worked for them and they've struggled to deal with the threat Atalanta have posed. If the home side continue to play the way they did in the first half, then they could easily pull off a shock result by knocking the holders out of the competition.
Atalanta reach the semi-final of the competition for the second consecutive season and will face Fiorentina in the next round. Juventus don't get the chance to challenge for their fifth title in as many seasons and will be hoping this is a one-off performance that they can put behind them when they face Parma in Serie A on Saturday.
