Hello and welcome to our live commentary of this Ligue 1 match between Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain at the Stade Vélodrome.
For decades, PSG vs. Marseille has been the biggest face-off in French football, offering up glamour, grit and most importantly, goals. This rivalry may be less finely balanced than it once was thanks to PSG's new spending power, but Le Classique still has the potential to get the blood pumping.
MARSEILLE (4-3-3): Steve Mandanda; Bouna Sarr, Boubacar Kamara, Adil Rami, Jordan Amavi; Luiz Gustavo, Kevin Strootman, Morgan Sanson; Dimitri Payet (c), Florian Thauvin, Lucas Ocampos.
The players step out onto the pitch to the giddy overture of Van Halen's Jump! Marseille are wearing their white home kit with sky blue shoulders, while PSG line up in their dark blue kit with iconic red stripe.
SUBS: Nemanja Radonjic, Duje Caleta-Car, Maxime Lopez, Yohann Pele, Kostas Mitroglou, Valere Germain, Tomas Hubocan.
PSG (4-2-3-1): Alphonse Areola; Thomas Meunier, Marquinhos (c), Stanley N'Soki, Juan Bernat; Marco Verratti, Thilo Kehrer; Angel Di Maria, Neymar, Julian Draxler; Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.
SUBS: Gianluigi Buffon, Christopher Nkunku, Lass Diarra, Adrien Rabiot, Kylian Mbappe, Kevin Rimane, Moussa Diaby.
This is a lively game, even if it hasn't been high on quality in the first half. Marseille would argue they're just shading it, and could have taken the lead via Luiz Gustavo's shot, but PSG had the best chance of the half on the stroke of half-time as Di Maria was denied by Strootman on the line. This is still anyone's game.
That result leaves PSG eight points clear at the top of Ligue 1 with a +33 goal difference after 11 games. No one looks like catching them yet again this season. It's worrying for French football but their relentlessness is nonetheless impressive. Marseille stay in fifth, a point behind Lyon who sit just above them in the Europa League group stage spot. That's all for now. Goodbye!
