N. Kacharava enters the game and replaces J. Ananidze.
And now, a third and final switch for the visitors, as Weiss looks to wind down the clock. Off goes Jano Ananidze, and on comes Nika Katcharava.
90' +1
J. Jighauri enters the game and replaces T. Okriashvili.
Another change now for Georgia, as we enter three minutes of added time. Their goal-scorer Tornike Okriashvili makes way for Jambul Jighauri.
90'
Desperate, last-ditch defending from Davies now, who does well to block Dvalishvili’s effort.
89'
CHANCE! In what was almost a carbon-copy of his famous goal against Belgium back in July, Robson-Kanu manages to squeeze a low strike towards goal from the centre of the area but, unlike Thibaut Courtois, Loria just manages to get down to it on this occasion.
87'
So poor from Vokes, who initially manages to bring the ball under his spell, only to over-hit his attempted pass to Robson-Kanu.
86'
Agonisingly close for Bale, whose swerving strike ripples the side-netting, with Loria having been well-beaten.
85'
G. Kashia gets yellow.
Just under five minutes remain now at the Cardiff City Stadium, and still it is anybody’s game, though now Wales have an opportunity, with Kashia having scythed down Bale in a dangerous area...
83'
Wales’ defence is all at sea at the moment, and Georgia are having so much joy. Kazaishvili again tries his luck, but this time Williams manages to deflect the effort wide.
81'
CROSSBAR! Georgia are going all-out for the win here, and if anything look the more likely to take all three points. Kazaishvili was just a matter of centimetres away from giving them the lead as well, but his strike clattered down off the woodwork.
79'
CLOSE! From Georgia’s perspective, it has been another solid display and - so far - they are certainly deserving of a point. And again, they are just inches away from taking the lead, as Gvilia sees an audacious strike curl just wide of the upright.
Minute
Description
76'
T. Okriashvili gets yellow.
Another booking for a Georgia player now, with Okriashvili picking up a yellow for a foul on Cotterill. The Bristol City midfielder delivers the set-piece, but Huws header does not trouble Loria.
75'
V. Dvalishvili enters the game and replaces L. Mchedlidze.
Well, moments after missing that gilt-edged chance, Levan Mchedlidze is replaced by Vladimer Dvalishvili.
74'
UNLUCKY! Bale almost makes immediate amends at the other end, but his goal-bound volley is somehow kept out by Kashia.
73'
E. Huws enters the game and replaces J. Ledley.
WHAT A MISS! That’s such a let-off for Wales! Bale almost turns villain as he concedes possession high upfield, allowing Georgia to break. The visitors carve open Wales’ retreating back-line - Okriashvili slipping a lovely pass into Mchedlidze - but the out-of-form forward, one-on-one with Hennessey, can only slide his effort wide.
A final change for Wales, as Joe Ledley - who has been running on empty in the last ten minutes or so - making way for Emyr Huws.
72'
That change has seen a further alteration in Wales’ system, with Davies having now moved over to left-back in what is a flat-back four. Edwards and Ledley remain the anchors in midfield, with Bale and Cotterill pushed further forward.
70'
D. Cotterill enters the game and replaces N. Taylor.
A second change now for Wales - Neil Taylor, short of regular football with his club Swansea City - is replaced by the more attacking David Cotterill.
68'
GREAT SAVE! Wales have stepped up the intensity, but Georgia are still presenting a real threat, and if not for Hennessey’s diving stop to his right, Ananidze’s long-range strike would almost certainly have found the bottom corner!
66'
CLOSE! Wales’ response to Georgia’s equaliser has been outstanding, and once again they are whiskers away from re-establishing their lead, as Gunter’s cross flashes across the face of goal. The hosts cannot afford to drop points this evening!
64'
JUST OVER! That’s a terrific effort from Bale, whose dipping strike sails inches above the frame of the goal.
63'
V. Gvilia gets yellow.
Great pressure from Ledley, who robs Gvilia of possession before winning a free-kick 30 yards out…
62'
It is now something of a 3-4-3 for Wales, with Bale given a free-role behind a natural front two of Vokes and Robson-Kanu. It has already allowed Wales to puck further up the pitch as well, thus boosting the morale of the crowd.
61'
H. Robson-Kanu enters the game and replaces A. King.
And indeed, that change has now been made - Hal Robson-Kanu, who cemented his place in Wales’ footballing folklore with a fantastic strike against Belgium at Euro 2016 - replacing Andy King.
60'
Not far off from a second of the match for Bale, who goes close with a dipping half-volley. On the touchline, Coleman is preparing to make a change...
59'
Again, Georgia go close, as Ananidze shoots wide. Wales are really struggling at the moment, with their midfield unit - that started so well - suddenly looking rather pedestrian.
57'
T. Okriashvili has scored a goal for Georgia! Assist by V. Qazaishvili.
GOOOOOAAAAALLLLL!!! GEORGIA ARE LEVEL! Wales have not heeded that warning, and now the visitors have pegged them back. Okriashvili went close just moments ago, and now the No.10 has his goal, despatching with a well-timed header after stealing in unmarked at the back post.
Coleman will be furious with his side, who have allowed Georgia to come back into this game and - in all truth - have the better of it for the last half-an-hour or so. However, it was a well-worked move from the visitors, Kazaishvili floating a cross towards Okriashvili, who made no mistake from close-range after losing Taylor.
56'
CLOSE! Another warning sign for Wales, Okriashvili engineering some room for himself on the edge of the area with a few twists and turns. Davies cannot shackle the winger, and he eventually manages to drive a low effort goal-wards that skips just wide.
53'
A half-chance at the other end, now, as Loria spills the ball in the area, but Vokes is just unable to react sharply enough.
52'
Georgia do well to defend another Wales attack, with the hosts having come out of the tunnel with renewed vigour. The visitors manage to forge a counter-attack, though - Gvilia laying it off to Okriashvili down the left - but the winger’s cross is gathered by Hennessey.
50'
More world-class quality from Bale now, as he cushions a long-ball from deep with an excellent first-touch, before prodding a throughball into the path of King, who just lacks the pace to prevent the ball running out of play.
49'
CHANCE! Great play from Bale, who is architect once more for Wales with a superb run down the left. He eventually tees up Taylor with a neat pass, who in turn drills a cross into the feet of Edwards, but the Wolves midfielder cannot keep his strike down.
48'
STAT - Wales haven’t conceded a competitive goal on home soil since October 2014, when they beat Cyprus 2-1 at the Cardiff City Stadium.
46'
Welcome back! Georgia have got the second-half up and running in Cardiff. There haven’t been any changes for either side at the interval.
45' +1
M. Daushvili gets yellow.
A first booking of the game now, as the referee - who had initially allowed Wales to play advantage - correctly cautions Daushvili for a reckless lunge on Gunter.
45'
So nearly an opening for Vokes, with the Burnley man having managed to open up Georgia’s defence. He looks set to run through on goal, but Kverkvelia tugs at his shirt, preventing him doing so, though the referee fails to spot the foul.
44'
CLOSE! It’s another brilliant corner from Ledley, with Bale just inches away from making a connection.
43'
Unconvincing goalkeeping from Loria, as he spills King’s low strike, resulting in a corner. However, King should have perhaps looked to have free up Gunter, who was in acres of space down the right.
42'
The game has settled into its rhythm now, but Wales are looking to up the tempo whenever they have possession in the hope of snatching a second goal before the interval...
39'
Another corner for Wales, this time on the left. Ledley again delivers, with Williams winning the initial header, but Georgi manage to clear their lines at the second attempt.
37'
Another good move from the visitors, as they continue to probe at Wales’ defence. This time, it is Gvilia who tries his luck with a curling effort from range, but it lacks the power to trouble Hennessey.
36'
That needs to have provided a warning sign for Wales, and Coleman will be looking for his side to get their foot firmly back on the accelerator now, with Georgia certainly having worked their way back into this game.
34'
CROSSBAR! That’s a terrific effort from Ananidze, as the diminutive midfielder gets his strike up and over the wall but, fortunately for Wales, the ball clips the top of the woodwork.
33'
However, that could be about to change, as the referee deems - harshly so - that King deliberately handled right on the cusp of the area, awarding Georgia with a free-kick 20 yards out...
32'
Georgia are neat and tidy in the first two thirds of the pitch, but they lack any cutting edge in forward ares, with Wales’ well-drilled defence having so far had very little cause for concern.
30'
Bale once again is the target from the resulting corner, but this time the former Tottenham winger cannot direct his effort at goal.
29'
Brilliant from Davies, as the Tottenham man firstly wins a towering header in the Wales area before beating Mchedlidze to the loose ball. He quickly starts a counter by playing in Bale, who wastes no time in bursting forward at blistering pace, but Kverkvelia does well to make a timely challenge.
27'
A neat move by Wales eventually sees Taylor look to feed Bale with an incisive throughball down the left, but the defender gets his pass all wrong, and it trickles out for a Georgia free-kick.
25'
STAT - This is the first meeting between the two nations since August 2008, when Georgia ran out 2-1 winners in a friendly.
22'
Georgia have just managed to gain something of a foothold in proceedings in the last few moments, with Gvilia - who impressed on his debut against Ireland - at the heart of it once more. However, Wales are looking comfortable, and haven’t been tested as of yet.
20'
STAT - Bale’s header was his 25th goal for Wales, and he is now just three behind Ian Rush in the all-time list of goal-scores for the national team.
18'
So often in Wales’ recent history, Aaron Ramsey and Allen have been the fulcrum of their three-man midfield, but with both players missing this evening, Edwards and King have stepped up to the mark and, alongside Ledley, are ensuring that Georgia are consistently pinned back into their own half.
16'
Bale’s free-kick is on target, but does not trouble Loria. However, if Wales maintain this tempo, they will have a second goal soon enough...
15'
Fantastic from Bale, who breezes past three defenders with a sublime piece of skill before winning a free-kick 25 yards from goal. Moments earlier, Vokes had a half-chance to double the hosts’ tally, but could not connect with his attempted volley.
13'
STAT - Bale has now had a hand in 14 goals in his last 12 appearances for Wales on home soil (10 goals, 4 assists).
10'
G. Bale has scored a goal for Wales! Assist by J. Ledley.
GOOOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLL!!! BALE PUTS WALES AHEAD! Well, it was certainly coming, and it is the hosts’ star-man who has got it! Ledley delivered an inch-perfect delivery from a corner, and Bale was on hand to meet it with a terrific leap and a venomous header.
Bale’s header was sublime, and so was the delivery from Ledley. However, some credit for that goal must go to Gunter, who won the corner after a lung-bursting run. The Reading defender hasn’t missed an international game in six years.
9'
So far, it appears as though Wales have taken some heed from Ireland’s lacklustre display against Georgia on Thursday. Martin O’Neill’s side were sluggish throughout the first-half in Dublin, but Coleman’s men are really on the front foot, with the visitors already hanging on.
8'
SO CLOSE! Very nearly an opener for Wales - Vokes prodding a pass through to King down the right - the Leicester City man proceeding to drill a brilliant cross into the six-yard box - but Bale just can’t manage to get on the end of it.
6'
An unusual sight now, as Bale is tasked with getting the ball into the box not from a set-piece, but from a throw-in. The Real Madrid man duly obliges, launching in a flat delivery, but Loria is again well-placed to ensure nothing comes of it.
4'
Wales were not at their best for much of their opening Group D fixture against Moldova last month, and took a while to click into gear. However, they appear to have come out of the blocks swiftly this afternoon, and their direct approach looks like it could pay dividends sooner rather than later...
2'
A positive start from the hosts, as Bale picks up possession down the right before quickly teeing up Ledley, who in turn switches the play out to Taylor - the Swansea full-back having made a typically adventurous run. His cross is a good one, but Loria comes out to claim it well.
1'
KICK-OFF! Wales, donning an all-red strip, get proceedings underway.
Hello and welcome, football fans, to this LIVE coverage of Wales’ World Cup qualifier against Georgia. Stick right here for all the action as it happens from the Cardiff City Stadium!
Wales have enjoyed a strong start to their Group D campaign, comfortably despatching Moldova before claiming a hard-earned draw with Austria last time out, though Chris Coleman’s men weren’t at their best on Thursday. And that point came at a cost - Joe Allen, who opened the scoring in Vienna with a stunning volley, having picked up a hamstring injury, which has ruled the Stoke City man out of tonight’s clash.
Georgia, on the other hand, have been unlucky not to take any points from their opening tow fixtures, having lost out 2-1 to Austria before, on Thursday, losing 1-0 to the Republic of Ireland in Dublin.
We have team news in now from Cardiff. Let’s start by checking on the hosts…
TEAM NEWS - Wales substitutes: Robson-Kanu, Huws, Fon Williams, MacDonald, Crofts, Cotterill, Collins, Lawrence, A.Davies, Dummett, Bradshaw.
TEAM NEWS - Wales (3-5-2): Hennessey; Chester, Williams, B.Davies; Gunter, King, Edwards, Ledley, Taylor; Bale, Vokes.
Just the one change from Coleman, with David Edwards replacing the injured Allen. The Wales manager will be demanding a better display from his side this evening, in what is a crucial opportunity to pick up three vital points in a qualifying group that looks set to be extremely tight. As always, Wales will be looking to their star-man Gareth Bale, who netted twice against Moldova, to do the damage up top.
No changes from Georgia head coach Vladimir Weiss, whose side pressed Ireland all the way in Dublin. The visitors come into this game with history on their side, though, having won all three of their previous meetings with Wales, conceding just once during those encounters.
The teams are out now at a raucous Cardiff City Stadium, as the national anthems begin to blare out over the sound system. A victory for the hosts could see them move three points clear at the top of Group D, with their main competitors for first-place - Austria, Serbia and the Republic of Ireland - not playing until later.
HALF-TIME! That’s the end of the first half in Cardiff, where Gareth Bale’s 25th international goal has given Wales a 1-0 lead over Georgia.
After a blistering start to proceedings saw Wales’ take a deserved lead, Chris Coleman’s side somewhat sat-back as the half progressed, allowing Georgia - who hit the bar through Jano Ananidze’s free-kick - to come back into the game, and it is still all to play for in the second half.
It is certainly two points dropped for Wales, though in retrospect, Chris Coleman’s side may well consider themselves lucky not to have dropped all three, with Georgia having gone close to a second goal on several occasions after Okriashvili had levelled.
FULL-TIME! It’s all over in Cardiff, where it has finished all-square between Wales and Georgia!
In the end, though, Wales have been punished for letting their initial intensity slip, and Georgia can come away from this meeting with a well-deserved point.
It means that Wales have picked up just two points from an available six in this international window, and they will have to regain ground on their Group D rivals in the next batch of fixtures come November.
Well, that’s all from me for now. Until next time, thank you and goodbye!
